I reserved a room for one and got a clean, compact room intended for a solo traveler. Ideal for one, it was comfortable and quiet. With an efficient bathroom reminiscent of something from a cruise ship. Has every amenity I needed for a one night stay in Kyoto. Excellent value.

At least three convenient stores around the hotel. 15-minutes walk to the Nijojo Castle and the Imperial Palace. 5-minutes walk to Karasuma Oike subway station. Room is clean and good sound proof.

clean room, the staff were incredible and kind upon checkin and checkout. plenty of shops and food nearby, like the main market and train stations less than a 10 minute walk away. the room is small, but to be expected, just check the dimensions to make sure you’ll fit with who you’re travelling with.

Hotel is very nice, clean and modern. Rooms are a little tight for 1 large and 2 med suitcases. We def had to send our luggage out the following day so we can have more room. This hotel offers luggage storage and helps you send your luggage to the next hotel. They also offer in room massage service in case you’re too tired to find a place outside. They also have a laundry room for the guests. You do have to walk a little bit to get to the bus stations but still a let good hotel to stay at.

Okay facility for the price point and good location. Unfortunately, when I inspected the bed on the first night, I discovered an old band-aid with obvious residue under the duvet cover. The staff promptly changed the cover but didn’t bother to change the sheet underneath that was also exposed to the old band-aid.

One of the better hotels we stayed at. Really happy with the location, we walked a lot of places and the station is near by. Clean and modern. Rooms are small but many are in Japan. We were there before the restaurant opened so didn’t get to try it but it looked really nice.

Double room. Good bed and pillows. Lovely bathroom. Room small but that was clear on booking description and was very well organised Lovely reception area, friendly and helpful staff. Laundry room which we used but with only 2 machines was in demand. Usual generous amenities for you to make use of. About 15-20 minute walk to centre of gion area with plenty of convenience and other shops, bars and places to eat nearby Staff provided us with a very helpful sheet complete with QR codes of neighbouring cafes/ traditional Japanese places to eat and other restaurants
