I stayed at the RIO for my daughters Cheer Comp and I had a great room such a beautiful view it was big and clean and just super nice wish it was a lil closer to the strip but other then that great stay.

They never did get the internet to work. The network connected but my system kept saying the certificates were expired and posed a security threat and I couldn't connect to internet service. The floor tiles looked like something was spilled and no one bothered to clean. The shower had pubic hair in the bottom upon check in. Beds were comfortable and they did send a cleaning person to clean the shower after I called it to their attention. Very disappointed for the cost, especially the "resort fee". Not even internet service. Staff was great. I did notice they could not even put a sticker on the door correctly.

The Rio is a nice choice with large rooms. I enjoyed staying here again. However, when I got back home, I did have a billing issue and never received a receipt. They eventually resolved the situation, but there was NO number to speak with the property directly. It took close to 2 weeks to resolve.

Stayed at the Ipanema tower which was renovated in 2024 I believe - or renovated recently - room was excellent, no complaints - large / clean / everything worked. The Rio is making a comeback - so the property as a whole still has ways to go - in terms of the restaurants, the retail shops there, the Masquerade tower needs to be renovated too, etc. - dining options could stay open a bit longer beyond 10pm - and the Shogun Ramen place needs to have a vegan Ramen option. All of that being said, I still got a very good room at a good price - so happy overall. WiFi was very good too - and as far as I could tell, didn't have a device limit like some of the other casinos on the strip. We connected 3 devices and it was ok. I'm used to a 2-device limit from my stays at the strip casinos, so being able to connect more than 2 was good.

New rooms were amazing. Morning hours of the foodcourt were inconvenient. (Not open during posted open hours.) I understand casinos have smoke, but it was overly thick and tough to breathe. A slot ate my money and no one was around to help. Parking was easy in and out, but walking/getting to and from garage was more challenging. Oh, the elevators were temperamental. Hotel was easily accessed from I-15. Again, the room was clean and very nice.
