As a layover stay, it fit the bill for what we needed. Good proximity from the airport, despite arrival time making uber prices very expensive to get to the hotel. Bed was comfortable, room clean but extremely tired. Clothing hooks falling off wall, carpet very old and ruffled up and features all in need of renovation or replacement. Bathroom looked tired, but shower was decent quality and had good water pressure. For standard of facilities resort fee seemed very high. Saving grace was price of room paid which was reasonable. As for Ellis Island the casino and restaurants, it’s a place we love and recent renovations have further improved the look and feel. Try the ribs in the BBQ restaurant, they are great and priced for a bargain if you have a players card.

Staff was not helpful at all, common areas and rooms were dated and run down, room smelled musty, body wash was all out but couldn't reach staff, pillows were the size of a throw pillow on a couch, and bed was very uncomfortable.

check in was a hassle. We came in early asked for an early check in they denied us. I asked if I could just pay for a room now and they still declined and said I would have to wait until 3 anyways, I checked the booking site and it said rooms were available. We came back an hour before check in and they still wouldn't allow us to check in, I again asked to pay early. The front desk staff iis terrible at best and I will never stay here again,

Our room was clean, but I would say the carpet needs to be replaced, or no carpet at all. Staff is nice. Its a low budget hotel, if you are on a budget, and don't need a lot of glitz and glamor. The casino next door is nice, and the restaurants are well priced.

Best value for money! If you’re a walker, this hotel will get you to the Stripe, Flamingo’s, Venetian, Planet Hollywood, Bellagio… or the monorail if you’re going to the Convention Centre, in about 20min walk. Although the property is aging (as seen on the old floor aircon units, for example), service is top-notch; staff are really attentive, check-in and out process is a breeze. Further, their restaurants are known and praised by the locals (every single Uber driver reinforced this). Would definitely come back!
