This location was the BEST! Walkable distance to so many sites. The host emailed very detailed directions to so many things. There is no elevator just as an FYI and it is on the top floor when you haul food or suitcases. The kitchen was well equipped making it easy to cook etc. All three rooms were adequate. The bathrooms were very nice (one does not have a potty) The mattresses have some springs that you a feel when you sleep. Wifi was a tad spotty for several days. The store in the building was fabulous and had the best food. We would love to return to this apartment

Check-in was at 4, we arrived at 4:15 and there were no keys in the lock box. I tried messaging the host, but was my messages were not going through. I tried calling but got the phone number was unavailable. After walking and found a hotel to warm up (January) - they let me use their phone to call, took 2 tries, and got through but was told there was no one available to help and they would call me back! I tried messaging again through the app and it went thru (connected to hotel WiFi). The host responded that the housekeeper/cleaner was still there and to knock. I responded we weren’t there anymore but could he confirm keys would be available when we walked back. They were there once we walked back but there were other issues. The main bedroom mattress was fine but the other two mattresses were like sleeping on springs, very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. The dishes in cupboard were not clean & silverware drawer was dirty, I cleaned everything before using. On the deck/patio, there was an empty beer can (appeared used as ashtray) the cleaner missed. Instructions on how to lock the double doors were not correct! I messaged the host who gave different (correct) instructions. The stovetop is an induction range with instructions on how to use however more than half the pans (T-Fal) didn’t work with an induction stovetop (all were Teflon and completely scratched up)! The flat was in a great location, but really needs updating and proper instructions.

Had a Wonderful Time in London

We had a wonderful time staying here. The location was fantastic and the flat was very clean when we arrived. Check-in was seamless. The host provided accurate instructions with pictures on where the locate the keys. The only caveat is that there is only one toilet. While the two bathrooms listed on the listing is technically accurate, one only has a shower and sink, so we were sharing one toilet amongst 5 people which proved to be a little difficult at times. Otherwise, absolutely fantastic!

Family trip

Great stay! Great location near the tube and downtown sites. Great comms with host. Plenty of groceries, pubs and restaurants in the area. Check in process for as easy. Would definitely stay again

Excellent home base

We enjoyed our stay. Pros: Property is in a terrific location and serves well as a home base. Mgmt company is responsive. Good food and grocery nearby. Tube stop is walkable in my opinion at .5 mile away. Cons: Master bedroom had a distinct smell of cigarette smoke that remained through our visit despite mgmt’s active efforts to remediate. Will likely require repaint of that room in my opinion. Likely user error, but could never figure out the “dryer” function of the washer/dryer combo unit in the flat. Not used to this type of machine coming from the US. On third floor, so folks with mobility issues might have trouble with stairs after a full day of touring.
