Chic apartment in Kensington Olympia

Gratton Road is a charming, well-appointed, two-bedroomed Victorian apartment in the ‘village’ of West London’s Brook Green in Kensington Olympia. The apartment has high ceilings, is light and airy and is decorated and equipped to a high standard. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, on the corner of Milson Road, one of the most desirable roads in the area. Available for LONGER LETS at Kensington Property Management...

This spacious apartment has a large living room and separate dining area with seating for up to six guests. There is a well equipped modern kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven & hob, microwave and full cooking equipment.

There is a Smart TV in the sitting room with all freeview channels, and an Amazon Firestick to connect to Netflix and Amazon etc. Also free Wi-Fi broadband access.

The property is cleaned before and after your arrival and Ana the housekeeper cleaner is available for additional cleaning if required. There is security intercom access from the street below.

Gratton Road has two well-proportioned bedrooms, one with King size bed, made by the fantastically comfy Loaf, and plenty of storage space, the other with two twin beds which can be attached. There is a modern bathroom with travertine tiling and new bath and shower, and plenty of hot water. Towels and bed linen are provided.

This area of West London is within easy reach of Heathrow Airport (20 mins by car or taxi), the heart of uber chic Kensington & Chelsea, London’s glorious Holland and Hyde park s and the amazing new shopping centre at Westfield. There are many nearby Tube stations for access to central London, and one of the best gastro pubs in London, the Havelock Tavern, as well as many acclaimed restaurants in close proximity.

TrÚs bon séjour à Londres

Un trĂšs bon pied Ă  terre pour dĂ©couvrir Londres. L’appartement est idĂ©al pour une famille de quatre personnes, chaleureux, dans un beau quartier. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut dans l’appartement. Je le recommanderais sans hĂ©siter.

Trés agréable séjour dans appartement confortable et bien situé

Un séjour de 5 nuités au 57, Gratton Road en famille avec nos deux filles nous a permis d'apprécier l'appartement bien équipé : bonne literie, eau bien chaude pour les douches, fonds de cuisine appréciable à l'arrivée, .. Le quartier est trés bien desservi en bus que nous avons souhaité privilégier pour mieux apprécier Londres. Quartier calme, à 5 mn de Kensington high street et d'Holland Park, rue commerçante et trés vivante, Hyde Park rapidement rejoint. Avons pu apprécier également les commerces WAITROSE et TESCO, conseillés par Huggo et Lizbett et les restaurants du quartier et petits commerces ouverts tard le soir. Merci également à Hugo pour toutes les réponses rapides et précises apportées avant et pendant le séjour. Nous reviendrons volontiers ! Nathalie, Olivier, Adele et Clara

GOOD: The house is comfortable and spacious. The rooms are large enough and the beds are comfortable. The owners are attentive. It's a good quality option. It was very clean upon arrival. BAD: The location is good but far from the city center if you're sightseeing, and train connections to the metro are limited (it's not very complicated, but it's not a direct metro line). The bathroom is small and has no electrical outlet. You need to bring a plug adapter. The downstairs neighbors complain about the slightest noise or footsteps (they have wooden floors).

In short: great host fantastic location roomy, well-appointed apartment a top-tier stay. Highly recommended if you want a nice apartment close to the heart of the city.We had a wonderful stay! The host was very easy to correspond with — quick, clear, and accommodating every step of the way.The location is wonderful. It offers excellent access to a nearby train station, making travel into the London Underground system (and other rail links) very convenient.The neighborhood is quiet. Our upstairs and downstairs neighbors were respectful and quiet — we felt very relaxed the whole time.The apartment itself is spacious, especially for a family of four. There was plenty of room to spread out. It’s also very well equipped for cooking: we were able to make several of our own meals with ease.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in Top-Lage

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet, alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Die Nachbarn bemerkt man kaum. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war immer sehr gut. In der Umgebung der Wohnung ist es sehr ruhig. Es sind in dieser und den angrenzenden Straßen viele kleine, sĂŒĂŸe ReihenhĂ€user. Der Bahnhof Kensington Olympia ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Tesco, Tesco Express) sind in der NĂ€he.

Comfortable London Stay

Very clean and comfortable in good location, easy access to overground and comfy beds. Would’ve been good to know in advance that there was building work going on which caused some noise early in the morning. Overall, nice place to stay however little changes would’ve made a big difference.

Esperienza con luci e ombre

Prima le cose positive: mai avuto host cosĂŹ professionali (materiali informativi completi alla prenotazione, mail di chevk in etc) e veloci nel rispondere a ogni messaggio. Appartamento con grande potenziale: camere e sala da pranzo molto belli. Buona zona. Le cose (per me) molto negative: un tempo sicuramente Ăš stato un appartamento di " standard elevato" ora non lo Ăš piĂș e non Ăš corretto descriverlo come tale: tutto quello che c'Ăš in cucina e in bagno Ăš rotto o sta per rompersi, il frigo Ăš letteralmente a un passo dallo sfascio, le veneziane pure, il mobile del bagno poi Ăš impresentabile. Uno degli asciugamani (scuro) aveva enormi chiazze di candeggina, a quel punto Ăš meglio non fornire gli asciugamani. Le lenzuola pure erano piĂč gialle che bianche. La pulizia dello stabile pure non Ăš buona, ma qui l'host non ha colpe, ho visto che ha lasciato molti cartelli, ma sembra che i vicini non siano capaci di disporre la spazzatura nei bidoni. In sostanza, ci tornerei, ma solo se sapessi che Ăš stato fatto un minimo rinnovamento. CosĂ­ come Ăš adesso, nella mia personale opinione, non vale piĂč il prezzo pagato.

Quiet neighborhood with nice restaurants. Close to overground.

Hugo & Liz's place was a perfect location for us go about London. After a very busy and tiring day of sightseeing, it was almost meditative to slowly walk a out of the train station and calm down from the quietness of the area. the apartment has everything you need to feel comfortable. we loved having the space to spread out between the 4 of us and the large kitchen table was the perfect center piece when preparing for the day or coming back home with a hot meal. the tried some of the owner restaurant recommendations and all were excellent! thank you for a fantatistic stay!

Home Sweet Home in London

Liked the neighborhood feel with very close pubs/restaurants nearby. Check in was easy. Be prepared for a lot of stairs up to the unit. Overall, we thought the apartment was fine, but definitely needed a deep clean in the nooks and crannies, which make a big difference. For example, the bathroom had toothpaste splashes on the faucet and the grout in the shower was moldy. Upon entry from outside the building, there was trash approaching the door, pizza boxes and tortillas on ground. Not the best first impression. Overall, I thought the pictures depicted a place a little different than where we stayed. Everything worked, but I would say it was just fine and would probably stay somewhere else next time.

Fantastic Home Away From Home!

We stayed one month at this cozy, inviting flat. It was immaculate when we arrived. Very comfortable furnishings; great living room space to relax in. There are two bedrooms, both furnished well. The beds are super comfortable; we slept great. The kitchen is small but well-stocked. It is a walk up; no elevator. The apartment itself has a short flight of stairs to the MBR and really does not suit for those with mobility issues. Otherwise it’s great! The location was easy to get to, and in a quiet neighborhood. It’s a good walk to the several different tube stops nearby, but it was not a problem for us at all. Communication with Hugo and his team was great. All queries were answered immediately. Huge even went out of his way to make our flat ready a day early when a train strike derailed our plans and we needed to come to London a little sooner than expected. (Those train strikes can wreak havoc). Would stay here again in a heartbeat; just a wonderful, warm, relaxing experience.

Basecamp for Extended Visit to London

My family of four enjoyed an extended stay at this property, giving us a quiet and well sized place to base all of our adventures from. There is easy access for multiple transit options, and it's close to Shepards Bush where you can rent a car for the day if needed.

Wonderful place

What a wonderful place to stay. Was easy to get around with the Tube close by. Easy to get to all the sites, then come back to flat and the quietness of the neighborhood was lovely. Owners had great suggestions on restaurants. Would come back to this flat again.

Great place to enjoy some quiet family time at the end of the day

We really enjoyed our stay here. The local eateries are fantastic and it’s a quick hop to the train station for getting around town. Very comfy beds, and a sun filled parlour to relax in.

Beautiful and quite place

We had a great stay in HugoÂŽs appartment. The location is very nice and quite, good mattrasses, in the kitchen you find everything you need also for bigger coocking actions and it is near to many bus stops. We contacted Hugo a few times and he always answered quickly. Gladly again!

Prime London Location

We really enjoyed our family holiday in London. The city is coming back to life and this apartment gave us all we needed to enjoy our time away including a separate twin room for our kids. Well connected by overground, underground and buses. Lovely stuff within walking distance. What I would say is that a couple of touches would have improved our experience even more. There was no welcome other than a generic note on the board (not even a pint of milk), half a loo roll for the whole week, a single person caffetiere as the only coffee maker, no Bluetooth speaker and the TV had no Netflix/iplayer/internet capability which both feel kind of standard for 2021. Not deal breakers but just felt a bit stingy when you’re paying Central London prices. However, super comfy beds, lovely shower, great spot.
