This was by far the worst Radisson Blu I have ever stayed in. Although the hotel itself looks nice, our room was in an unacceptable condition. It was dusty throughout, the bathroom walls were stained, and the shower ceiling had black stains that appeared to be mould. There were dried liquid drips on several walls, the main lights in both the bedroom and second bedroom were not working, and even the TV in the bathroom was broken. We reported these serious cleanliness and maintenance issues at around 4pm and were assured they would be dealt with. When we returned at 7pm, nothing had been fixed. Instead, we were told there were no other rooms available and were asked by the manager to wait in the lobby with our two children while he cleaned the room himself. This is completely unacceptable in a hotel of this supposed standard. The manager’s attempt at cleaning was still well below any reasonable level. The entire situation showed a lack of care, poor management, and a complete disregard for guest comfort and hygiene. For a Radisson Blu, this stay was shocking. We will never stay at this hotel again and would strongly advise others to think twice.

Room and beds cleaned. No complimentary tea bag’s or sugar. Initially given a double bed instead of twin beds as requested however these things were sorted. This hotel is not easy to get to from Stansted Airport. We found we had to get taxis to the ABBA venue and back

I stayed with my wife at the room with riverside view the weekend leading up to Christmas. The room is beautiful, however it was very obvious that it had not been cleaned prior to our check in. All the counters had very visible dust and stain on them, the bath tub was stained. It is not what you expect when you travel down 3 hours to spend your mini moon at a 4 star hotel. The customer service was astonishingly poor. There was no warm welcome; just a straight face checking us in and handing us our room key. I am not sure if this was a one off situation; however it ruined our mini moon for us and we would not consider staying at this hotel again.

Unfortunately the steam is probably the worst I've been to, there was a draft which resulted in the steam not lasting for 3 minutes and not warm. Also the sauna wasn't working. The dinner menu didn't have a vegan or vegetarian option and was was very basic. The room was nice, but Coventry City FC were staying and I believe they had better river views on the 3rd floor as we were stuck in the corner with views of apartments opposite. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice for vegan, vegetarians and cooked options.
