The room was incredibly tiny. No place to open suitcases and keep them open. We were constantly putting them on the bed and re-zipping to put them back on the floor, where we had to step over or squeeze around them. I was given Prosecco and cake from the staff, in honor of my birthday—but I don’t drink and am allergic to milk. We ate some of the fruit they also included, but had no space to pack it. I felt awkward, knowing they intended to be kind and festive.
