The only downside was there was filming going on and we did not have access to the main lobby, restaurant or bar. We were looking forward to enjoying the gorgeous interior. Otherwise our stay was great and the staff were wonderful!

Stylish stay

Hotel Per La is a beautiful hotel with stylish design. The pool area is lovely. My room was gorgeous and included a large soaking tub. There were thoughtful touches like dimmer lights and I appreciated the bottle recycling. Everyone who worked at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. I did encounter some minor service glitches -- ordered breakfast (simple cold oats dish) in the hotel restaurant and it took nearly 40 minutes to be served. The staff was working hard but there weren't enough of them. I went to the rooftop for dinner, was seated, but no one came to check on me so I left after 20 minutes. On check out day, hotel housekeeping opened the door while I was still in the room, changing. I did have a great dinner at Per L'Ora with no issues. Valet staff was especially helpful. Will stay again. Would love it if the pool opened a bit earlier in the morning!

All was beautiful at this property but I wish they would had a magnifying mirror to apply make-up. The only mirror they had was the one in the restroom - which was fine but not the best for us glasses wearing people.

Hotel staff was extremely unfriendly as soon as we pulled up the valet. Very very noisy. Hotel security was called at 1 am due to a woman screaming “get away from me” in the hallway and all the security said was “they’re so f-ing drunk” and walked away. Extremely unsafe and unprofessional. Will never stay here ever again.

Pros and cons.

Beautiful hotel and great room. I lived the soaker tub and the breakfast was good. The toilet flushed a little too long, the mattress was too soft for me, but my fuance loved it. We were both pretty upset that the usb chargers in both of the nightstands did not work, so we ended up with dead devices for the rest of our stay.
