We had a great stay at Palihotel Hollywood. I wish we were in town longer and had the time to make use of their pool and bar. Everything was clean and beautiful. The stay was quiet and walkable. We did grab a cup of coffee from their coffee bar, it was delicious. The barista definitely knows his coffee.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. We felt safe walking in the area with our toddler, and the location is near a lot of attractions. The hotel is really clean, and housekeeping did an amazing job each time our room was refreshed. The few cons were the walls were paper thin that you can hear your neighbour snoring, and you can hear almost every conversation...It would also be nice to have a ramp to help get up the stairs for convenience while traveling with babies in strollers.

Style over substance
This hotel looks amazing a Palm Springs explosion in LA. However scratch the surface and your hotel room is totally impractical. A small room is overwhelmed with a TV cabinet holding three coffee table books and two superfluous lamps but there’s no where to put your cases. You get diptyche room amenities but two cheap and thin bath towels. Your sink is in the bedroom which looks funky but again impractical. I prefer to brush, floss and all that other stuff in private, plus my suitcase is under the sink which is doubly awkward. Does any designer stand in the shower and see if it’s practical. The shower head is too big and strong for the small space and if youre small it’s aimed at your head and you have to struggle to reach through to get the shower gel. The pool area is gorgeous but whoever starts cleaning and moving plants at 6am needs to stop.
