I was nervous about the area driving in, but in the end I’m glad we decided to stay. Was a really nice room, felt more homey than any other room I’ve stayed in. Staff was very nice and despite it being in a questionable area it feels really safe there you have a nice area to hang out in front of the door that’s clean and feels private, even though it’s right on the busy street. Food and some shopping is in walking distance and even though there’s no parking lot for the hotel itself, the parking garages are really easy to get to, and the staff even recommended one that has more security. So it wasn’t as much inconvenience as you think it would be. Overall, it was a great!

The suite was awesome! It was like a little apartment! I loved it and would stay there again! The location is super convenient and right in the middle of downtown. Its perfect if you like the big city life!

Remember this is Downtown LA, but it was safe. Lots of locals walking around. Homeless folks do not mess with you. Hotel has the place clean when you walk in and inside.

Great stay in Downtown LA. The staff is wonderful. The room was perfect. I loved everything in, out and around the apartment. The Haas is definitely saved as one of my favorites. Parking is the only issue in LA anywhere you go and tons of homeless people. But that's just how Los Angeles is. There was a $15 parking garage that was conveniently across the street. Highly recommended. Other than parking this is the best stay for the price in Downtown LA

The property itself was nice and clean. Some beds were not as comfortable as I would’ve liked to them to be. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location isn’t ideal as the area feels unsafe, however, it’s good to know that this nice property exists in the event we need to stay in downtown LA again in the future.

Perfect central location. The staff texted ahead of time to provide nearby parking recommendations, and were friendly and accommodating to our slightly earlier check-in. Also extra love the special design touch of the lobby decor: a mnemonic device sentence with the major downtown street names written in pink neon.
