North Star was so beautiful . We had an ocean view room which was amazing ( thank you Mrs MacDonald for the upgrade) . All the staff were awesome especially Colin and Justin who own this wonderful resort. All the staff never stopped seeing that everyone was well looked after. Hope one day to go back for longer, already miss the place.

Clean room, nice location (right near Louisbourgh fortress), quiet, restaurants on site, tasteful beach-inspired decor, spacious room, friendly &helpful staff. Very firm bed. Very small bathroom mirror - hard for shorter people to apply makeup. Our room included dishes, cutlery, microwave, kettle, coffeemaker, bar fridge.

The hotel is located on a point 5 minutes from the Fort of Louisburg. Each room had its own entrance and was beautifully decorated. We had dinner in the restaurant which also had entertainment. The waiters looked familiar and had Scottish accents. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. There was lots of parking and we could see the Fort of Louisburg from our window. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we ever came back.

Great time. Wonderful staff. Gorgeous room design and decor. The bed was sooo comfortable. Delicious food and those Roquefort cream mussels were to die for - wow! The hosts were superb, welcoming and humble. And thanks too, C & J for the decor tips. See you again soon. Mairi and Taylor.
