This is my 4th trip and 4th stay at Axel Beach in 3 months. The staff is the best - super friendly and accommodating. Pool area is great (I wish it didn’t close at 8). Steam room is great, but rarely working - that’s annoying. Excellent location 2 blocks from the beach and 1 block from great restaurants on Espanola Way. Convenient parking garage within 1 block. Rooms are old school mid century - well preserved. Highly recommended.

Such a wonderful, always smiling staff! If you need anything, they are on it. You always feel welcome. You always feel pampered. Walking distance from all of the fun in South Beach. I lacked for nothing and Axel Beach Hotel was the best home base. If you haven't stayed here yet, Why not? I'll be back on my next visit to Miami Beach.

My room was nasty and dirty. It had bugs,someone left a pair of underwear under the sink. I had to kill a couple of roaches. And the toilets wouldn't flush. And it had the worse smell ever. In the room and in hallways

I got breakfast included, just went one day although i could of gone 3, the girl was rude,took for ever to get our breakfast almost an hour,obviously cold ,coffee 30 minutes, asked for room service i didnt get any on my 2nd day ,asked 2 staff members. Had to get upset for it to get done.. hotel is beautiful but staff ruined it for me.
