It was cheap in an expensive town, so I didn't expect much. The area was slum-like, with homeless people camped at the bottom of the stairs. There was no deadbolt on my door and the chain was flimsy. Most critical: I could see and smell MOLD in the bathroom and ceiling even though a lot of detergent had been used in the room. I was okay, but a person with respiratory issues should not stay there
This is a cheap motel. It’s clean, it’s safe, the bed king bed was new and clean. There was no dresser or hangers for the rail. There is a fridge TV, clean shower toilet sink. If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay while hiking for a night, it’s great. If you’re fussy, you should look somewhere else.
There are places to eat on a nearby street (5 or 6 restaurants). One was very popular and we couldn’t get in. The Italian was okay/fine.
The room was surprisingly good .
No frills to be sure but when a shower and bed is all you need.. you have it there.
Now , the weird sounds of giant pieces of tin foil being crinkled outside of the window was irritating. AND i drove passed the location thinking “no way !that can’t be the place “ zero curb appeal
Horrible, absolutely horrible. Found a roach in our room, sheets with holes and stains, insufficient towels, used shampoo. The deal breaker for every staying here again was the homeless guests. Our next door neighbor kept many of her possessions outside her room. I cant imagine what it looked like inside. She had at least two cats despite a no pet policy. I would have felt more comfortable sleeping in my car! If the nightly rate would have been half what it was, it still would have been too much for this dump.
Chose this hotel because I was in the area for a concert at Bethel Woods. Wasn’t expecting much - and it was still a horrible massive disappointment. Checked in, showered and never returned after the concert and chose to drive home instead despite getting home at 2 AM after waking up at 3 AM the previous day. Moldy tile, missing baseboards, filthy windows, dirty walls, shady people staying in other rooms and walking around trying to approach you as you went into your room.
The most expensive shower I’ve ever had. Didn’t even ask for a refund or different room.
Was in the area for three shows at Bethel Woods. This motel stuck to the basics, room was good, and it was a great value especially considering the scarcity and high cost of places to stay closer to Bethel Woods. Worth the 45 minute drive to Bethel; staff very kind as well!
If you dont mind sleeping in filth then this is your spot. Disgusting from parking lot to lobby to rooms. Had I not reserved the room in advance I would have left and slept in my car. I waited 15 minutes just for someone to come to the front desk to even start checking me in. Parking is atrocious. Rooms dont classify as clean. Everything is old and run down. The rooms stink of bug spray and mildew which is obviously a sign of them just trying to cover the smell and not fix the problems. The beds suck, the blankets had stains, and there were dead bugs in the room. The only lamp had a burnt out bulb and the air conditioner was a pile of crap that blew luke warm air on cold. I could go on and on about this trash dump. Dont waste your money.

Value for Money
Definitely no frills, but our room eas was clean and spacious. Location eas was a bit noisy, right iff off Rte 209, but an easy walk from Ellenvlle's pleasant downtown.
great location- dirty, run down and poor managemen
The check in area was filthy and had a terrible stench. the front doors were so dirty you could not see through them. the check in people were rude. We stayed because we were there for an event and there was no place else to stay within 20 minutes away. the room was no as bad as the rest of the place which is old, falling apart, garbage and cigarette butts in the parking area. this motel needs to be torn down or purchased by a chain that can revive it, as the location is great.
