There was a loud party going on well past 3:00am. People were yelling and the music was blaring.

Most disappointing experience

Pros: Nothing
Cons: It would take a total remake of the hotel and staff.
Bugs in the room, leaking water valves in the shower, lack of knowledge by desk staff, breakfast bar was a joke, thin towels. Overall this was the most disappointed I have been many years in a hotel's staff and the physical condition of the building. Pictures on the website must have been from years ago, Restaurant was never opened and looked rarely used.

Run down

The staff was not professional. Didn't seem to know what they were doing. I think they may have tried to double book me.

Old motel with not many amenities

For the most part the staff was good and tried to accommodate. Everything was just so so. They had a good breakfast. They ran out of hot water when I was in the shower. Their towels were too small and too few. The cost was about half of what I would have spent somewhere else. So I got what I paid for.

not the greatest stay

Pros: it had a trow back vibe to the 50's which if they capitalized on that feel it would make a difference -
Cons: where do I start - so I will not start
Location: a lot in the area as far as shopping antedating places
1st room I went into -in the first 5 minutes -the toilet overflowed - they gave me another room - this room had a slight rode of cigarettes -even though it was suppose to be a non smoking room - there were long term tenants in the hotel who were very loud - and they seemed to have work release prisoners there - they all were leaving to clean the highway - quite unportable feeling to stay there.

Section 8 Tenant Housing!!!! Beware!!!!

Pros: We were able to escape
Cons: Burn it down
Location: Adult stores
This place is not what is pictured on Travelocity. When we arrived the main lobby was just like it had on the website and felt a little bit better after seeing the adult stores that were across the street but that was it. We noticed that people were hanging around the lobby as if it was there living room. Once we were giving our keys we were told to go outside and around to our room. There was no way to get to our room from the main lobby indoors. Once we turned the corner, we saw this decrepit two story building with people hanging out all over, drinking and smoking. We finally found our room and it was filthy. The room was full of cigarette smoke , the doors were filthy and had no secure lock on them and the curtains were falling off the window. The bathrooms were full of broken tiles. All night we dealt with people yelling and fighting. We also were constantly woken up by visitors banging on our neighbors doors. We did finally find out that this was a section 8 motel. (housing projects) The pictures are false advertising. Travelocity has no right to post this on their site without investigating first.

Misrepresentation

Our hotel was in a very dangerous neighborhood. Unsecured and dirty. I spoke with a gentleman at Travelocity and was assured that our payment would be refunded. He attempted to contact the Manager of the hotel and was unable to. In the meantime, my husband was visibly engaged in a conversation with the manager as I stood there. While waiting, I was approached by a young man who was very friendly and very high on some type of drug. Cigarette smoke and some other substance filled the air and our non - smoking room I was again reassured from the gentleman on the phone from Travelocity that they appreciate the feed back from customers like myself that let them know about these issues and reaffirmed my refund. I then received an email from Travelocity that my monies would not be refunded. Never again!!! Check out more on Yelp! I will be looking for other dissatisfied customers!

Crumbling Facilities

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: In fact, the hotel should be totally renovated.
Location: There is a big mall nearby, and a diner across the street. Unfortunately, there is no light, so to get to the diner one would have to drive.
The facade of the hotel and the lobby are more or less decent, but when you approach your room you notice that the cement floor is damaged and the paint on the ceiling is peeling. My room was clean, but the table had marks on it and the ceiling was damaged. The TV reception was awful. To make things worse, my car was scratched, probably by someone who was watering the bushes in early morning. I did not mention it to the staff as I had no direct proof of who had caused the damage.
