Beautiful, completely newly renovated (2019) and newly equipped apartment in a secluded location with mountain views.
Approximately 65sqm for up to 6 people
(2 bedrooms for a total of 4 people and a sofa bed 1.60x2.0m with topper in the living / kitchen area for the 5th and possibly 6th Person (child)

Above the town of Assling with all kinds of shops such as supermarkets, banks, restaurants, petrol stations, bakers, hairdressers

It is a 5-minute walk to the train station, from there you can take the Meridian to Munich in about 25 minutes and to Rosenheim in 15 minutes, then on to Salzburg ...
(i.e. you can also arrive without a car, if we can arrange it, we will of course be happy to collect you and your suitcases from the train station)

nice stay!

Freddie was a great host, he greeted us upon arrival and explained everything about the place. He even brought us beers and chatted with us later that evening. Had everything we needed, nice, clean place to stay with great view of the alps. Hot tub was much needed after long days of walking in munich.Close to train station,less than 10 min walk although there is a little of an uphill walk to get to his place.

Wonderful Stay! Highly Recommend!

Stayed 4 nights during Oktoberfest and really enjoyed the experience of staying out in the country for the days we explored Oktoberfest/Munich! Although we had a rental car (due to the fact that we were exploring other areas of Bavaria before and after Munich), we certainly didn't need to use it on these specific days, as the train is very convenient to get into Munich! Just be sure to coordinate departure times to/from Munich with the train schedule, as during non-peak hours the train runs far less frequently. We timed leaving Oktoberfest just perfectly in the early evening so that we didn't have to wait an hour on train platform. On a rainy day, we decided to drive to the Aßling train station instead of walking, and parking is plentiful and very inexpensive - only 1 Euro for the day. The car was also handy to have when going into town to eat & pick up groceries, but there are a couple of restaurants and stores within walking distance for those arriving without a vehicle. Overall, great host, excellent communication, and all the amenities needed for a terrific stay! Really appreciated the 2 beers in the fridge upon arrival (nice touch!) - thank-you! Will definitely stay again someday when we return to Germany/Oktoberfest! :-)

A lovely apartment in a great location.

We really enjoyed our 2 week holiday in Assling. The apartment was lovely. It is modern, clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was a nice suprise to find we were welcomed with drinks, fruit and chocolate. The patio area was a lovely place to eat in the evening when the weather was good. The hottub was great for the cooler evenings. There was a conformable hammock too! The train station was a 5 min walk away which gave us the flexibility of not always having to drive. We visited Munich, Saltzburg, Kufstein and 5 gorgeous lakes. The town of Assling was only a 15 minute walk. I would definately recommend staying here. Freddy is a fantastic host.

Oktoberfest Trip

We couldn't have asked for a better property and host. Freddy went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay. The property was impeccable and wonderfully appointed with all then necessities needed for a traveler. At this point, I wouldn't consider any other place if and when I go back to Munich.

Quiet Location

Amazingly beautiful for only being 20 minutes, by train, to Munich. Apartment was perfect for our family of three and Freddy was super accommodating and great to talk with. Very short walk to the train station and a decent walk into town for restaurants or the grocery store. Thank you!

Excellent property with an equally wonderful location

The property is excellent! The size of the rooms. The kitchen appliances. The washing machine. The bathroom and large tub was so wonderful after our days out. The location of the property is amazing! An honest 5 - 7 minute walk to the train station. If you use the DB Navigator (train) mobile app, then your can easily go anywhere from this property with only a short walk! We went to Munich (several times), Salzburg, and Fussen to see the castles. I have a short YouTube video of the property - search on YouTube for "Uncl3Mik3Mik3 2901939" to see the video. Thank you, Freddy, for a great property. Picking us up at the train station on our arrival was a nice surprise. I missed that we weren't able to say a proper good-bye. Clean, quiet and beautiful central location

Our family of four (with two teenagers) thoroughly enjoyed this property. It was a short 30 minute train ride into Munich with a quick and scenic walk to the house. We took trips to Nuremberg, Salzburg, Stuttgart and Neuschwanstein castle always having a clean quiet place to come home. We enjoyed talking with and sharing a beer with the property owner Freddy and his family. Freddy was friendly and personable - very helpful. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you Freddy!

Tolle Ferienwohnung , mit ein/zwei Mankerl

Wir waren ein paar Tage in der Nähe von München um Konzerte wahr zu nehmen. Die Unterkunft liegt praktisch, die Bahn ist schnell erreicht. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut. Die Einrichtung lässt an sich keine Wünsche offen, der Whirlpool ist gigantisch. Das Objekt liegt am Ortsrand, da stört einen definitiv niemand ;) Zudem ist der Wald in unmittelbarer Nähe für kleine Spaziergänge. Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs befinden sich im Ort und sind mit dem Auto schnell erreicht. Ich persönlich dachte anhand der Bilder, dass der Whirlpool auf einem Balkon steht. Dieser befindet sich in der großen Einfahrt und ist dort sehr blickgeschützt und liebevoll angelegt. Da der Preis nicht unerheblich ist, will ich anmerken: Die Sauberkeit war akzeptabel, stellenweise ist jedoch schon einiges ins Auge gefallen. So würde es bei mir zu Hause nicht aussehen. Alles ist zweckmäßig, aber hier und da besteht Investitionsstau (Dusche, Insektenschutz s.u. Klobürste, Vespermesser). Fliegengitter wären an allen Fenstern oder zumindest den großen Fenstern und Türen sehr praktisch, da man von Schnaken gefressen wird. Denn ums Lüften kommt man abends nicht herum, da es an den Tagen doch sehr heiß war. Zeitweise haben wir je Abend 20-30 Schnaken im Wohnzimmer beseitigt. Insektenschutz ist günstig und unwirklich schöner. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Trotzdem bitte ich meine Anmerkungen zu berücksichtigen. Wie sagen wir im Schwabenländle: Eigentum verpflichtet ;)

Ein schöner Kurzurlaub

Sehr netter und angenehmer Vermieter. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht und ist auch für kleinere Kinder geeignet. Zum Chiemsee & Tegernsee sind es mit dem Auto jeweils nur gut 30 Minuten. Nach München kann man auch gerne mit der Bahn fahren (nur 5 Fußminuten zum Bahnhof). Aßling ist keine Weltstadt, hat jedoch alles, was man braucht... Der Whirlpool gibt dem Ganzen noch das gewisse Etwas. Wir planen auf jeden Fall einen weiteren Besuch. Nochmals Danke Freddy!

Empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Der Gastgeber war äußerst zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft bietet alle Utensilien die man im Alltag benötigt. Der Whirlpool war unser persönliches Highlight, da er jederzeit Nutzbar war und für zusätzliche Entspannung gesorgt hat. Die ruhige Lage der Unterkunft hat uns ebenfalls sehr gefallen, trotzdem ist man durch die direkte S-Bahn Anbindung schnell im Stadtzentrum. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Mädlsausflug

Wir waren 5 Mädls von 20 bis kurz vor 60 vom 28.04. bis 01.05. Gäste in der Ferienwohnung der Familie. Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Aufenthalt mit viel Spaß. Die Unterkunft war prima und der Whirlpool wurde rege jeden Tag genutzt. Die Gastgeber waren super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolle Unterkunft zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen!

Eine sehr gemütliche Wohnung und ein sehr netter Gastgeber. Wir haben regelmäßig den Whirlpool genutzt, der das Highlight ist! Wir wurden mit Getränken begrüßt und konnten den Vermieter immer kontaktieren. Die Betten sind super und das Bad ist schön groß und hat Fußbodenheizung. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und vergeben 5 Sterne!

Erwartungen übertroffen

Unser Charlet war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Total entspannt und schön!

Bei der Ankunft begrüßten uns vier gekühlte Flaschen Bier und eine Flasche Sekt. DAS ist Gastfreundschaft! :D Die Unterkunft befindet sich total schön umgeben von Wiesen und Wald, in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und nicht weit von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Check-In und -Out waren super entspannt, freundlich und unkompliziert. Der Whirlpool war das Highlight und einfach in der Bedienung. Die Wohnung hatte die perfekte Größe für ein paar Tage zu Viert. Zum Whirlpool muss man aus der Wohnung im 1. OG eine Treppe runter und an den Garagen vorbei. Wir würden immer wieder gerne hin!
