This unit at Dunes Village was one of the nicest we have stayed in and we have rented there many times. First, the wide view of the beach stretching far to the south was wonderful and the unique layout where the dining area was next to the window was a great idea. The furnishings and decor were very good quality and beautiful. The beds were very good for sleeping. The bathrooms were updated and the kitchen was well furnished with items to cook with and updated appliances. Communication with property manager was very timely and answered all our questions before and after we got there. Additionally the location in the building was on the end so very little traffic by the room or noise from other units. Overall, a great experience!

We had a really great stay at the resort and were very happy with our experience. The room was clean and well-maintained, which made it easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away.The fully equipped kitchen was a nice bonus and had everything we needed for simple meals. We also really appreciated the spacious two-bedroom, two-bath layout—it gave everyone plenty of room to relax.The balcony with ocean views was a highlight, especially for morning coffee and winding down in the evening. It was also great that the unit included beach gear. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and water slides, which were a fun extra—especially on days when we wanted a break from the beach.Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, and we’d definitely consider coming back.

Everything was as described, and the views were amazing. We've stayed at a lot of different places over the years at SC and NC beaches, and this was the first one that had blackout curtains--finally! As somone who is light sensitive, I was so appreciative of not being woken up early because of thin curtains. Our kids loved the waterparks!

Dunes Village Retreat

This is the perfect place to stay in Myrtle Beach if you have young children. The options are endless from the water park to the beach!! You are close to everything Broadway At The Beach, Bearfoot Landing, and limitless options for restaurants. Anthony was a great host with great communication and the condo has everything you need for your stay. I almost forgot the best part the view is amazing you can see the entire Myrtle Beach coastline and no other hotels in the way it's unobstructed!! Definitely would book again!!

June 2026. I want to be very clear in separating the condo itself from the resort property.The condo was beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything in the unit was functional during our stay. The water pressure was great, we had plenty of hot water. The beds were very comfortable, and we really appreciated the large Keurig coffee maker. Another thoughtful touch was the closet stocked with sand toys, beach chairs, and boogie boards for guests to use, which we were happy to contribute to before leaving. We truly have nothing but positive things to say about the condo itself.However, the condo is located within Dunes Village Resort, and our experience with the resort was very different. The resort areas felt dirty and run down. The pools did not appear to be well maintained, and we noticed clumps of hair floating in the pool water on multiple occasions. The water slides were also extremely rough and left our backs sore for a couple of days after using them.Overall, the privately owned condo was excellent, clean, and comfortable, but the resort property and amenities were disappointing and did not meet the same standard as the condo.

Great Condo and fun vacation

This is our 4th time coming to Dunes Village for April vacation. We love the location…a bit North of the busy downtown Myrtle Beach. Beach is quiet and pristine! The unit was updated and clean. Views were great. Comfortable mattress and kitchen fully stocked. W/D in unit was great. The resort facilities are “tired” and could use updating and a good power wash. Pools, waterslides, activities areas are clean.

Perfect size, location and amenities

This condo truly has everything you need for your stay and the resort amenities are wonderful. Views are beautiful. ** Do not use the dryer in the condo. Several of my husbands shorts were caught in the drum and ruined. It burned a hole in one of my sons shirts and left black (what I think are burn marks) on several other articles of clothing. I never filled it more than halfway as instructed to it clearly just needs to be replaced or worked on.
