The property was dirty, there was not toilet paper and there were dirty towels in a drawer from a previous stay. We were so uncomfortable we left and stayed at another hotel.

The continental breakfast that was advertised was pathetic. The cereal was old and hard to get out of the dispenser. The bread for making toast was stale. No fruit, the coffee pots were empty, and there was NO water in the cooler, just an empty 2 1/2 gal jug/bottle sitting there empty.

The bathroom tub bottom was Stained, bottom edge of tub wall has mold. Sheetrock next to tub deteriorating .
The tub was ugly enough that My wife would not take a shower.
Seams that this property is due a remodel, and update.

Rooms were dirty. Toliet was not sealed and as soon as it was flushed water was all over the floor. Had to waits hours for a new room. Had 2 reservations. That was one room. The other room smelled TERIIBLE. Roaches crawling around. Tried to get money back for the 1 room 1 night stay and was refused. Very surprised Travelocity has this hotel on their site. Very Disappointing. Will look a different booking sites from now on.

Good location right off the Interstate, with access to the road behind for easy commuting. Room was very clean and mattresses were very comfortable. No issues to write about. Would stay here again.

Keep driving - don't stop here!
Pros:The TV was ok.
Cons:Clean it up and get new management.
Location:New Braunfels, Texas
Our non-smoking room was situated between two smoking rooms and we breathed their smoke ALL NIGHT LONG. It was an absolutely miserable night. When we notified the manager, she came to our room at about 7:30am and said SHE didn't smell smoke, and would not authorize a full refund. By that time we had had our room door open and the fan blowing full blast just to clear the air while we got ready to leave. Plus the people in the rooms on both sides of us were gone. We were charged an exorbitant amount for one night in this room and ended up with a refund that amount to about 14% of the amount we paid. After arriving home and checking online, we realized we paid almost three times the normal nightly rate for the room. We made the reservations two hours prior to arrival in New Braunfels and I guess they think they have you by the neck when you are making reservations that late. That is absolutely highway robbery to raise the room price by so much, but that's just one other reason we will never stay at Days Inn again.
The plastic slip guards on the bottom of the bathtub were so filthy and brown that I wore my sandals while I showered. it was gross.

It's an ok hotel, with average everything. Very disappointed with the breakfast as it shuts down at 9:30am, where as I've always seen hotels have it until 10am. I would probably not stay here again, unless there was no where else to stay.
