The exterior of the building leaves much to be desired and looks like it needs to be power washed, but the interior is very luxurious! It felt like a high end hotel and everything looked clean, modern, and freshly renovated. And my room had plenty of outlets for chatging things

Although the hotel appeared a bit sketchy outside, initially, it was actually a great stay with modern and clean rooms. The beds were comfortable. The workout room was great. Having water machines available was also a plus. The entire location is very eco friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is GORGEOUS- easily the best in New Haven. But I only have stayed at The Study as a comparison. Glad they reinvented this historic structure in this manner. They did an excellent job.

Great hotel!

While the outside of the hotel is a bit different, the inside is beautifully decorated and new. The staff was friendly and kind. Loved the free shuttle service to downtown. I will stay here again.

First, the building is beautiful, featuring a unique design from 1969 by Hungarian architect Marcel Breuer, which has been adapted with modern and eco-friendly features. The pleasant staff is present in both the lobby, front desk, and the people who service the rooms. Suites on the 6th floor give you a marvelous view of the city and the water. convenient parking also. Would definitely stay there again.

The bed room was extremely small. There is no space to place your luggage on the floor. There is no table. The hotel does not have a business center to fax , use a computer, or print documents The bed was too soft and so low I felt like I was sleeping on the floor. this hotel is definitely not for senior citizens I wuold not recommend this hotel
