The room was immaculate, the breakfast was really good. The staff was friendly and the location of this hotel was absolutely perfect. It was close to the hotel close to the French Quaters like a 20 minute drive everywhere we wanted to go in the city and I love that if I come to Louisiana again I will definitely be staying at this hotel.

For starters, be aware that there are two buildings for this hotel. The front desk clerk mumbled her way through directions on where to park and where the room was, which caused two trips to the front desk for clarification. The larger building behind the main building is clearly being renovated, which is cool to see, especially with how beautiful that courtyard could be. That said, we stayed for 3 nights and the room was lackluster at best. Thank God for slides since the carpet feels so sticky! The closet doors on the bathroom are an odd choice and there's no ventilation in the bathroom, which causes the room to smell musty. We had 6AM wake-up calls two days in a row that weren't requested and then our key stopped working after the first day. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, just an odd one at times. I would be interested in checking out the renovated rooms and courtyard once all the work is actually complete

1 star for the area. Rooms and grounds not as pictured. Clean enough, but has a motel feel. Top flight security guard who takes his job wayyyyy too seriously. The bathroom seems an odd area to place a coffeemaker- don’t y’all think? Luckily, this was just a one night stay for me. I will never return nor recommend

We checked in at 5 PM and our key never worked. The front desk staff was very friendly, but unable to help us get a key that worked for our room. It was New Year’s Eve and we came in town specifically to go to a party and we’re not able to get a working key to our room until after midnight. I left my cell phone number at the front desk for somebody to contact me and follow up with that never happened. Overall, it made for a very stressful one night trip. The only reason I did not give it One star was because of the staff member at the front desk was very nice and tried to help but could not

Room next door smoking marijauna in the room. In was adjoining rooms, so it easily came through the door. I have a fan and had it facing the door. Room has a sign saying no smoking ,vape or marijauna there will be cleaning charge added to their card. $250…..
