This stay was perfect for our bachelorette trip of 9! The kitchen/dining area and outdoor by the pool were utilized the most but you could spend hours just looking at everything in this house. (So many cool books and antiques) We really appreciated how easy check in and out were. The shower room on the first floor was slightly tricky to figure out but was a hit overall. Ubers to the French quarter are easy and cheap but we were also able to walk to the trolley.
Visited the mansion with a group of girls and we absolutely loved the space- somehow, itâs even nicer than the pictures showed and I am so glad we found it.That being said, I gave the listing 3 stars due to inappropriate interactions with the property manager, Carl. He entered the mansion THREE times unprompted- without even knocking and without permission. He was polite, but this kept happening⊠The first time he barged into the dining room and claimed to be ensuring the door was properly locked. The second time he barged in with a stranger and claimed that he thought she might be apart of our group because she was looking for her phone from a sorority party nearby. The third time, he opened the gate to the backyard where the swimming pool is and asked to borrow the grill. We asked him for help taking a group picture and instead of saying âsay cheeseâ he joked that we should say âbeadsâ and lift up our tops to âfit New Orleans tradition.âOverall the property manager left my group feeling incredibly uncomfortable and slightly unsafe. Every other aspect of the house and space itself exceeded expectations.
