I realize Travelocity adds the disclaimer "The price DOES NOT include any applicable property service fees, charges for optional incidentals (such as minibar snacks or telephone calls), or regulatory surcharges. The property will assess these fees, charges, and surcharges upon check-out." - however immediately after booking I got an email saying that fee was $75/night. That is really excessive to 'hide' from the customer. Additionally it did not include the $19 parking fee either. So this room ended up costing close to $100 more then was posted on Travelocity. caveat emptor.

Dear Guest,You may be referring to our incidental hold, which is a common practice of most hotel chains. This "hold" is not an actual charge. It's a calculation based on the rate for any possible incidental charges for phone, meals, parking or the marketplace. The final amount on the folio at checkout is the actual charge. Any amount not used is released from the authorization after check out. It may take 7-10 business days based on your bank.

Great, one night stay. The wifi situation was a little tricky. Had to sign up with their rewards program to get free-wifi but had trouble getting the registration through. Otherwise everything else was great. Clean place, helpful staff, quick ride from Newark Penn and Prudential Center.

Had friendly staff, the breakfast was awesome. The bed felt great, we were on a 5th floor and so we had a good view. The room we originally given had a broken refrigerator and the staff switched us to another room. We did have 2 small roaches that we smacked, but we had a great time. Will be there next week if God permits.
