Séjour décevant

Le wifi n'a pas fonctionné pendant 3 jours, la personne de contact ne savait pas ou était le boßtier. Le fauteuil était rafistolé avec du papier collant, la porte de certaines armoires ne tenait pas, pas de mot de bienvenue ni expliquation sur le fonctionnement de la maison (wifi, poubelle,...).

1of2The clubhouses are great. One clubhouse is walking distance from the house. The bigger one, is about a 45 minute walk or 5 to 10m drive. There was supposed to be a shuttle but we werent given any information about it and we tried calling and there was no answer. The location of this complex is also in a good spot. Close to shopping and the big highways. Negatives... We’ve found the property to be underserviced, with only one roll of toilet paper, paper towels, no face cloths, no hand soap, no oven mitts, no dish cloths and no tea towels. There was nowhere near enough hand or body towels available. The towels that were there were very old and in poor condition. While we are well aware of self-supply requirements for these types of rentals, the level of service and maintenance here was below any reasonable expectation.M uch of the furniture is in disrepair. The outside lounge chair is broken, the couch chaise is very worn and seperates from the couch, the accent chair is all springs, and the coffee table is flimsy. The couch in the living room is horribly uncomfortable. The lights flickered in many bedrooms. The ladder for the 4 bunkbeds in the Star Wars room was not properly secured. The carpet in the living room and on the stairs was filthy. There are dirty marks all over the walls and door jams. There is a sharp spring on the edge of the mattress on the main floor that scratched my leg when I was getting in and out of bed. Continuing on next review 2/2.

Nothing special missing some daily stuff

I enjoyed the stay but some things could’ve use improvement. This is the first place I stay that didn’t have coffee and enough towels. They wanted us to take the trash out but didn’t provide enough trash bags for the stay. 4 nights two trash bags for 8 people. Make it make sense!

Family trip to Universal

We come down to Kissimmee/Orlando 5-6 times a year and always stay in Storey Lake. We’ve always had a good experience with the neighborhood but this particular house and location wasn’t the greatest. We were directly across the street from the very busy dumpster/compactor for the neighborhood that was used from 7am until dark. The couch inside the unit was held together with duck tape and a kitchen cabinet door wasn’t secured and fell off the hinges multiple times. The linens and towels had multiple stains and there aren’t any wash cloths in the house. Our largest complaint was the master bathroom upstairs had a window overlooking the dumpster and other houses and if you’re a tall individual you were completely exposed. We had to tape trash bags to the windows since my husband and myself are both tall.

Pros Close to attractions Community pool was great Plenty of kitchen place settings and most pots and pans. Bed rooms are as pictured. Pool was big enough for our kids to play in. CONs Would have been nice to have pot holders and kitchen towels for cooking Also The place did not have a pizza pan. but did have a pizza cutter The couch in the living room was being held together with repair patches. It was still useable but... The Pink chair was very uncomfortable and should be replaced.

Clean and as advertised

It’s a great place to stay with 5 kids - family of 7. Plenty of room for everyone and their things. We only stayed a few nights, and were not there much during the day, so not quite enough time to require purchasing lots of groceries or household needs like laundry soap, etc, (which made us plan meals and chores more efficiently) but it would be very ideal for a large family staying a week. Would definitely stay again.

Great house to stay.

The house is beautiful and affordable. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again. I went with my 7 kids and husband last minute after our out of town vacation had to be canceled due to the hurricane. Though we were bummed to not go visit family this house helped make that up. Kids played in the pool all day and it’s only 2 blocks away from the clubhouse with the bigger pool and lazy river. Thanks again so much to Emily and Keven the hosts we had a blast.

Do NOT stay here!

Property mangers do not communicate Floors were dirty Dishwasher doesn’t work Roaches! Yes you read that correctly, ROACHES!! The upstairs master bathroom had broken toilet paper holder No wash cloths and only a few towels And almost the worst (nothing beats the roaches) it odd over an hour to get in and out of neighborhood even after you have a pass. Again, this was all brought to property manager’s attention, they refused to discuss. There are much better options in Orlando than this location. We stay in Vrbo rentals frequently in Orlando and this was a first for us. Vrbo was made aware a week ago and I currently have a case number and photos with documented dates/locations were submitted.

Great for the price but not what was expected

The price for this rental was on point. It had it's own pool, neighborhood amenities and it was close to Disney which is why we came down for a trip. The pool was clean and nice. The pool company came mid week to check chemicals which was good. However, upon arrival, the trash bin on the front porch wasn't empty and full of bugs. The horizontal blinds on the back doors were on the floor and difficult to open. The couch did NOT look brand new like the online photos. It had gray duck tape on every cushion holding it together. There were no kitchen towels for use and we ran out of the cheap toilet paper just a day or two into the week long trip. The bedrooms were fine for the kids and adults. However, the master bathroom shower had a body length window which let the entire neighborhood see you while you showered! It was very awkward and not well designed. The rental did the job for not being there often but if you plan to stay there and feel comfortable, I'd keep searching.

Storey Lake 2023

The location was excellent. The amenities when working were great. My kids love the clubhouse. The Bronson Club house had no heat for water activities, and our house rental also had a problem with heating our private pool. We were very disappointed that the pool was not fixed during our stay despite frequent reminders and requests.

Family Vaca!

The property was very nice, close to stores and attractions (we went to Universal). It was great we had access to other communities with pools/water activities. But of course it is peak season so everything was very busy and took quite some time to get to but overall it took care of our needs. One thing was we had 1 towel for each person staying but no wash cloths, that would have been nice with having little ones but no biggie we made it. Thanks for a great trip and memories made!

Great for the Family

We had an amazing time! Great location within the resort and for other local attractions. Nice quick walk to the smaller resort pool with the lazy River, and just a short golf cart ride to the larger, main pool with splash pad, slides and other activities. Our group age ranged from 2-60 years old and there was plenty to do for everyone. We enjoyed having our own private pool for early morning and late night dips. Clean and comfortable beds with plenty of space for everyone. We appreciated having a kitchen stocked with cookware and other tools for less dining out. Check out was really easy (aside from just not wanting to leave the beautiful weather and resort) and any communication with the host was seamless. We’ll definitely be keeping this rental in mind for future Florida visits and would absolutely recommend it to anyone! Thank you for the wonderful trip and the memories to go along with it!

Convenient

The house was clean and the neighborhood was pretty quiet. Temps were in the 70s with a few days in the 80s when we stayed, I didn’t think we would need the pool heated but someone else said we should so I added it. I’m glad we did! Even though one of the days was 87 it was a little windy which made the water at the lazy river area so cold. We were excited to get back to the heated pool after that. Location is super close to both Disney and Universal which made the trip a lot easier to stop at both places! Several malls pretty close by as well with a lot of stores for shopping. There was a cat roaming around outside loving up on everyone outside, my daughter loved that, not sure where or who it belonged to but it was super friendly! The water pressure in the bathroom upstairs attached to the bedroom wasn’t great compared to what I’m used to at home. I have thick, long hair and it took a long time to wash soap from it because of the pressure. Nobody else seemed to think the same of the other bathrooms. Overall if I came back to Orlando area I would stay here again.
