Pool was great. The furniture was in poor condition and the carpet was filthy. Kitchen was clean and very spacious. Some linens were stained and toilets needed replacing very ragged. Dishes were chipped. Overall the house needed a good cleaning. The grill needs replacing also.

Family Get Away

We live in St. Augustine/Jacksonville area. We have a big family and I found this propriety a year or so ago. Its perfect size for us, works in every way and the best location. This is our 2nd time renting this propriety and we hope to be able to again in the future. The home was dirty, carpets nasty, dirty items in the kitchen, also needs better child proofing. You expect to go away not to have to do household chores, but to enjoy yourself. I DID reach out to the Reservation Manager. Quick response, offered resolutions and reported it to the appropriate people for us. Maintenance even brought replacement darts and wasnt even expecting it, which made up for the lack of the other things. IF you have a big family this property is the place.

The property was ver nice and the pool was amazing. The issues we found were that there was a cockroach on top of the bed in the room by the entrance door. The other issue we found is that the sofa by the kitchen is in very vas stage and is very uncomfortable. Other than that the property was ver nice and clean. We had enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

House review

House was amazing. My family loved how clean the house was and the fact that it was a gated community. Our only issue was the alarm as it kept going off and the alarm code was wrong. Called the front office and they sent someone and they explained something has been happening with the alarms around the property and they will get it fixed. I appreciated how prompt everything was. There was an issue with the couch and stuff but I saw In old reviews about it so it didn’t bother us. :)

We inquired about early check in and were informed that the property review was wrapping up and would be complete in 30 minutes (allowing for an early check in) but to our surprise we were unable to check in early and had to wait 2 hours. The security at the property is great but the front gate had issues nearly every day. The code did not work and we had to call to wait for support staff to manually allow the gate to open. The games in the garage did not work (dart tips broken and air hockey table was not in working order). Minimal dishes and supplies were available considering we had a large group that stayed. The sliding glass door needs replaced/repaired as it was very difficult to slide along the track to open it. The carpet felt dirty/was stained. The fine details within the property could use extra attention. Positives about the home: the size of the space was great, the security was great and we always felt safe, the pool was small but efficient for our group, close to Disney and other needs such as target, grocery stores, etc. Overall, based on the price of the visit, it met our standards considering “you get what you pay for”.

Family vacation

We had multiple problems with this property. The house it’s self was perfect for a large family however we ran into many issues that gave most of my family a headache. We got to the property early and called the place asking to check in early and they told us to wait until noon after we waited we had called and they said the place was still not available. Instead of telling us up front that we can not get in until 4 they had us wait in a parking lot for 3 hours. Then we arrived to the house and had to go through many issues checking in even though I had pre registered online. Then staying at the place they ask that you put your bagged garbage in a bin on the front porch and each morning the garbage guys will come and pick it up. However the entire week we had to deal with garbage scattered across the porch due to a raccoon and the garbage company refused to pick it up, so most of our vacation involved picking up trash that was originally placed in a garbage bag but taken our due to an animal. We connected management about this issue and it took almost our entire vacation for them to do something about the raccoon issue. Over all the place was okay I would not say it’s worth the money you pay for it and the management need a lot of improvement.

Stay Away, Below Average Property and Terrible Customer Service

The washing machine never functioned properly. Two of the beds were in complete disrepair and impossible to receive a goodnight’s sleep. I reported multiple times with no fix until the final three days of our two week stay. When you are on vacation you are expecting to get some rest and relaxation as well as enjoy all that the Orlando area has to offer. It is hard to enjoy the stay when you are unable to sleep well and remain tired and exhausted every day. I understand that they needed to call the owner to get permission. However, I am asking to get some compensation for much of our stay when the beds were in complete unacceptable form. The smoke alarm went off two nights in a row, waking everyone. The water damage above the refrigerator and the broken couch seat should not have been an issue These were reported over 2 years ago in a review. I called Florida Scandi and was asked to report this via email. I never received a response. I called again and was asked to wait while they read my email and talked to a manager. They offered me a 10% refund and a 10% discount on any future stay. I asked “is that the best offer you can give me?”. She replied, “We can give you 15%”. I was not satisfied and I wanted to pursue more. She told me I should have called them more often and earlier to report mu issues. When on vacation the last thing you want is be on the phone with the management company.

Pleasant Stay

We loved our stay! Everything that was listed in description and amenities were provided! We loved the patio and pool/hot tub. The only thing that we could complain about is the couch, the corner seat is broke and you literally feel like you’re sitting on floor, could use a new one. Other than that no complaints! We would definitely stay again!

Disney World Vacation

I cannot say anything bad about the property! It was big, more room than we actually needed because some of our travel party was not able to join us for this trip! We had the master bedroom and the bed mattress was quite firm, but it was just what I like! The other rooms provided privacy if you wanted and basically a bathroom for every room! Property is definitely used, so some small aesthetic fixes but nothing that would impact the stay or the use of the property! And basically have seen the same in hotels! Unfortunately we were out checking out the parks so we truly did not get to enjoy the whole benefit of this place! Communication with the property management was prompt! And they fixed any problems quickly! The kids loved the pool! We did not even venture to the resort pool, as they enjoyed the privacy of having their own pool! It was great to be able to come home after a long day exploring and have the opportunity relax, have a soak in the pool or hot tub before bed! It was also nice to have the option to be able to cook meals! Going out to feed nine people is expensive! Definitely was nice to be able have a quick breakfast and the option to cook meals! I definitely would book this place again or would recommend it to family or friend sun the area!

Family vacation / Birthday celebration

The location was within 25 to 35 minutes of universal studios. If you were visiting Walt Disney then the property was 15 minutes or Iess. The property met the needs for a family of 8 people with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool and hot tub with the unit was helpful to relax after a long day at Universal Studios. The amenities of the main clubhouse was great. There were several options nearby for shopping, entertainment, and restaurants nearby.

Good property for large groups

We enjoyed the property. It was easy access to Disney. 10-15 minutes each way, a little longer headed back during high traffic. We paid for pool heating and that was good and warm enough for swimming. We enjoyed a hot hot tub every evening. This place is nice. It could be amazing with nicer furnishings but was good for what we needed.

Just okay!

We just got back on Thursday morning after spending 7 nights at this home. 12 travelers including 6 Adults and 6 Children ranging in age from 11-16. Check in Process: The address that was giving on the bottom of the paperwork that was emailed to us, explaining the check in process was the wrong address, thank goodness the women at the place we went to had the correct address for the management company that we needed to check-in into, 6 others had done the same thing just that day. Finally finding the property management company, the young lady that waited on us was very nice and it was an easy process. Just be sure to go to the Main gate for check in. The home looked very nice and was clean upon first appearance. The entire place needed a good deep cleaning. The home says it sleeps 14, beds enough for 10-12, problem being there wasn’t enough blankets, sheets or pillows for 10. Sometimes you just wished you had an extra blanket to have for more warmth. One of the reasons for renting this place was for the game room for the teenagers. Air Hockey was broke, No Darts for the board, the kids were very disappointed. Family room upstairs had a Faux leather wrap around couch, more than half the Fake leather was gone off, which meant every time you sat on it the black faux pieces stuck to you and now was throughout the home. (WE DID CLEAN OUR MESS) There was not enough towels, hand towels and wash cloths so we needed to do laundry every day to accommodate everyone. Both bunkroom beds were so loose I was afraid to have the kids sleep on the top bunks in fear of it coming apart. My daughter found Medication under the fitted sheet of her bed, and we found rubbing alcohol under one of the other beds. Light fixtures were broken in several of the rooms, After all this one of the adults went to sit at the kitchen table, pulled the chair out to have the front legs fall apart, most of the Chairs at the table needed to be replaced. Last but not least, the Hot Tub was freezing and never worked the entire vacation we were all very disappointed in this. I called to report most of the issues, the only thing that got corrected was the beds did get tightened up. Think Twice before renting this property. Sincerely, The Bennett Family

Could be a perfect place to stay!

Upon arrival discovered that even though we had done online check in and we’re told we could go straight to the house we had to go back to a guard shack to get the paper needed to get through the gate. Didn’t take long but would have preferred to know to stop at that different address first. House looked very nice on the outside out front. Upon entering the house we began to notice lots of dings in the walls and some of the doors, some dining room chairs were visibly broken and some you noticed when you sat down were unstable. The couch downstairs had one section that you felt like you were going to the floor when you sat on it. Curtain rods in the living and dining room were barely hanging and we were concerned they would pull out just opening and closing the curtains. Screened in porch had broken screens and one of the doors to the outside was broken. Kitchen was very nice and had what we needed. Fridge had a huge dent on the front and the inside back wall had cracks but it didn’t affect the use just appearance. Went on to the upstairs and the stairwell was filthy. The couch in the loft was unusable. An outlet in the loft had a broken cover plate with the inside exposed. Ladders to the top bunks needed some help. We didn’t pull out the trundle in the avengers room but the other had all kinds of trash and clothes from previous guests. This house is huge and could be amazing. Lots of cabinets, lots of storage, beautiful tile work and at one point the furniture was very nice but it definitely needs some work. I did notify the rental company of issues upon our arrival but was told to call back the next morning and meet with someone to get the issues fixed. We had plans for each of our days and didn’t plant to miss them to fix easily noticed issues that should have been handled before our arrival. Some of the issues we noted had been noted on reviews that were posted after we booked but before our arrival so the company could have fixed them.

Great place to stay. This home was perfect for our family vacation. Enough room to spread/enjoy!

Good experience. Suggestion - have a checklist for prior damages. Things that they are aware of so you don't feel like you'll be held responsible for prior damages.

Nice house but it could’ve been cleaned better

The location was great. Check in process was easy everything was sent at 4pm as expected. The house could’ve been cleaner, we found trash under beds from the previous guest. Hot tub didn’t work we call maintenance problem wasn’t resolved so we said forget it and pool area wasn’t cleaned. Bathroom had plumbing problems. Upstairs living area was unacceptable

Wasn't what I expected ...

The property was nice but trash was left a around the house. The front yard had trash bags sitting around the front tree. Pool wasn't clean, and the Furniture was tore up n ran down. N to top it off televisions wasn't working. Had to login to my personal account.
