Our beautiful FOUR-BEDROOMs (sleeps 8 +air mattresses), THREE full BATHROOMs, luxury home is located at the gated community of Emerald Island Resort, surrounded by lush Florida vegetation, is the one of the latest full-facility resort in the Disney area. The winding, palm-lined road that leads to the impressive entry to the resort gives a taste of what is inside.
Our home has been very tastefully decorated by a professional interior designer with the visitor's comfort in mind. The open family and kitchen areas are great for the group's planning of the days activities to unwinding in the evenings after a full day at the parks. The separate spacious living room provides a getaway from the kids to watch a movie, enjoy a great book, or just kick back and relax. The 'southern-facing pool with raised spa and waterfalls' and extended deck really lets you unwind while enjoying a spectacular sunset and enjoying your favorite beverage. Enjoy a walk around the resort and take in the atmosphere of the islands. Simply stated, there is no better way to enjoy a totally great vacation experience.

Emerald Island Resort is located less than three miles from Disney, and has a heated pool and spa, video game room, volleyball court, kids' play area, nature trail, and a tiki bar for relaxing and enjoying friends. I had an absolutely fantastic experience. The property was exactly as described, if not better. It was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities one could need. The attention to detail was evident in everything from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks and local guidebooks.The location was perfect – close to key attractions yet in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood that allowed for a relaxing stay. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing clear check-in instructions and even giving great local recommendations.The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. I also appreciated the fast Wi-Fi, which made it convenient to work remotely.Overall, this stay exceeded all my expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. If you’re considering staying here, don’t think twice – it’s a gem!

Wonderful accommodations

House was clean, comfortable, pool and spa lovely. Spacious lanai. Lots of amenities available. Guest host was great and extremely responsive. The house was even nicer than the pictures indicate. Great location and space

We enjoyed our time at the house! The location can’t be beat if you’re visiting the theme parks. There was an abundance of restaurants and shopping nearby as well. The property was exactly as described. We had no issues checking in. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We found the location very handy for the theme parks, shops and restaurants. However over all we were very disapointed and had to call the owner many times. Swimming Pool At the time of our visit the pool had a leak whilst it was fixed during our visit the low level of water was not ideal and also meant it failed to filter properly leaving bugs and dirt on the surface, so we avoided use until after it was fixed but even then the guys who fixed the leak left the hose pipe on and in the Pool, we turned this off and removed the hose on return from a day out, however the pool was full up to the brim and above the filter box so was again not filtering.The spa was also affected and had very low levels and was not available to use as it should have been for a number of days. General cleaning and Housekeeping issues Dirty cups and plates had been put back into the cupboards,The sinks in each bathroom had to be cleaned by ourselves. The pillows on the beds and in the dressing room were all very badly stained and unsuitable for use. The shelves in the dressing room in the main suite were full of dirty or un ironed bedding leaving no space for our things. other problems were -drier, coffee maker, safe and vacuum cleaner not working, garage door and lights not working - mats and patio tables dirty. litter under bed, we do not consider the property was ready for rental and would like a refund. photos sent to owner. villa not presented as advertised. still waiting for owners response.

Yearly Florida Summer Trip

Let me start by saying that we travel to Florida every summer for a 3-4 day stay before the kids go back to school. We are from South Carolina so we completely understand the heat and how high temperatures can reach. With that being said, the home is hot. The bedrooms are very hot. The temperature in the home is controlled remotely , the home is a constant 76-78 degrees with the exception of early mornings. The first night I sent the owner an email and he corrected it remotely right away. The next day after coming back in from a day out we entered the home and it was 78. I reached out to owner and after 1 hour with no response I reached out to the local property manager. It took them o er 44 mins to respond. She or he had no fix. They weren’t concerned with the temperatures instead I was told turning the temperature down would freeze the system. We were miserable. The next complaint was the spa did not work. I wasn’t aware of this issue until the 2nd day as I was the only one in my party who looked forward to enjoying the spa. Once I alerted them of this issue, the pool guy came out the next morning around 10 am to repair. At 6 that evening, coming back from another day out we were greeted with hot temperatures and to the spa not working. I did not enjoy the spa not once. The owner is very nice when he communicated. He was understanding. But being nice and understanding does not fix our issues. In the 5-6 years that we’ve visited Florida this was the worse experience.

Wonderful property in an excellent location

We have just had a wonderful two week stay at this beautiful property. It was absolutely immaculate, with every amenity you would need available for your stay. Excellent sized bedrooms with plenty of storage space. Lots of living space too, so you don’t feel like you are on top of each other. Pool and hot tub were a perfect addition for use during wind down time! The whole of the resort area was also beautifully kept and, as it is gated, you felt completely at ease at all times. The location is very central for all theme parks, and particularly close for Disney so no long drives after a long day! Lots of variety in restaurants and shops very close by so there was always something to suit everyone in our family. Frank and Margaret were so helpful and kept in regular contact with essential information in the lead up to our stay. We had a wee issue in the diary week (our fault!) and they had it resolved for us in less than an hour! What more can you ask for? All in all, a wonderful and completely stress free stay in this beautiful property. Would highly recommend and would definitely return! 😊😊

Family / Friends Orlando Vacation

The house was great and was exactly as advertised. There were 7 of who stayed ranging from 61-12 years of age. Some of us enjoyed the pool and hot tub and others enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen or living room catching up and socializing when we weren’t out at the parks. Both Disney and Universal are within a 20 min drive. :-) The house came with a couple of trash bags and a couple rolls of toilet paper. After that you have to provide your own supplies (as one should expect). Gate card was $20 per card to get on to the resort site. Very easy process to go through. Door lock is a PIN code you enter which means no keys to keep up with and everyone had access. The only hiccups we had were: Both bedrooms with one bed had ceiling fans that rattle. One guest was able to get used to it so wasn’t a big issue. I’m a light sleeper though so my room didn’t use it. The other issue we had was extremely noisy neighbors - houses are right next to each other. However both the resort folks and house owners were easy to reach and willing to deal / assist with the situation. Nice place to stay while away. 😎

Wonderful Disney Vacation

We stayed with our adult children to celebrate our daughters graduation going to all the Disney Parks. We enjoyed our visit. It was very clean. The pool and spa were wonderful! Appreciated the beach towels left for guests to use. We had everything we needed. Very comfortable place to stay. Close to the parks. Will definitely stay here again.

Great Location

This property was clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet, and close to the parks. We were only there a few days and spent most of that time at theme parks so we didn't get to enjoy that this resort offered. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend it to others.
