This house has 5 bedrooms, 3 of which are on the first floor. One of them is a King-size suite (bedroom 16'x 12', bathroom with a whirlpool tub, a walk-in shower, his and her washing sinks, and walk-in closet) and a beautiful, antique-style desk. Another is a luxuriously furnished queen-sized suite. The third one has two twin beds. Two remaining bedrooms are upstairs. They are two bedrooms with queen-sized beds and share a bathroom.

This property has one of the largest lots (close to 1/4 acre) among the vacation homes in the high-end 24/7 guard-gated resort communities near Disney, and no east side neighbors.

The spacious great room (17'X16') - dining room (11'X11') - kitchen (17'X11') area has a cathedral ceiling which makes the area very airy and attractive. It is the heart and core of the villa, and of family/families. The landing on halfway of the stairs and the upstairs balcony overlook this family area, further enhancing the feeling of a closedly-knit family on vacation. The setting is also family celebration.

The south-facing heated (heating optional) pool, a five person jacuzzi, and the extended size deck are always sunny, providing great experience of enjoying the Florida Sun at any time of the day in any season when the Sun shines - which it does almost all the time. The south-facing lanai is sunny in winter and shaded in summer, and overlooks the always-sunny pool and deck, making you feel completely relaxed. It is an ideal place for out-door relaxation and dining.

The game room (20'X20') has a pool table, an air-hockey table with a table tennis top, and a dart board, providing fun activities for kids and adults alike.

There are TV sets in all rooms, and DVD and VCR units available for entertainment any time during your stay.

The house is wheelchair-accesible. It has a playpen and a high chair for babies and small kids.

Windsor Palms is one of the top-rated, guard-gated resort communities that are very close to Disney - it is only about 3 miles from Disney, and also very close to the other theme parks, and many great golf courses, including Champions Gate (about 6 minutes away), the best in Orlando area, Mystic Dunes (next door), and about 10 others in 10 minutes of drive. It is only minutes from the Rte 192 commercial district which is full of stores and resturants. It is about 30 min from Orlando International Airport, 60 minutes from the east coast/Kennedy Space Center and 70 minutes from Tampa/Busch Garden and the white sand beaches of Clearwater. The resort has a beautiful clubhouse and a stylish, large size resort-style pool/spa, tennis court, volley ball field, basket ball field, children's playground, fitness center, game room, computer center, all open to guests.

The host and property manager were very responsive. The hot tub was dirty so we couldn’t use it….but overall things went well. Suggestion: there were only 2-3 washcloths available so we had to use hand towels to shower. If you use washcloths (I know everyone don’t) I suggest you bring your own to ensure there’s enough for all in your party

Amazing family trip!

We took the kids & grandkids on a winter get-a-way to Orlando. Perfect location to day trip, everything close by, loads of retail and restaurants a short drive away. Plenty of sleeping room in the house, when trying to keep kids of various ages happy LOVED having the pool and hot tub in the backyard.

My wife and our three adult children stayed at this location for 1 week. The residence was clean, bright and incredibly spacious, particularly with 5 adults. Everything we needed was provided. The community is quiet and very peaceful and we were a short drive to Disneyworld and all amenities. We will definitely be coming back!

This house suited our needs. It allowed the 7 of us space to ourselves but gathering areas as well. A couple issues popped up during our stay but were attended to quickly by property manager and owner. We would stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights here. There were not enough towels/linen to accommodate our group of 8, we could only located 6 towels in the master bathroom, that's it. We did not cook so unsure about the appliances but the dryer is older and takes time to dry the laundry. The ad notes a private pool with jacuzzi, upon arrival it was clear the Jacuzzi has been removed with the exception of the steps for jacuzzi which are remaining on the patio. The property manager stated jacuzzi has not worked in some time and is not advertised but looking back at the listing it is on the ad more than once! It rained the last night of our stay, when arriving back to the property after an awesome day, the entire front porch and walls entering home was covered in worms, they were falling onto us as we entered the house, after researching we believe these are asian jumping worms, a horrific experience to say the least. There is no weatherstripping around the front door so they did end up entering thru the cracks around the door also in all first level rooms. We travel several times through the year, and I definitely would not rent this home again after my family's experience here.

The house was in a great location and the house was clean. The family really enjoyed it. We had a 5 day stay and only had a half roll of tissue in each bathroom. Other than that small thing, I have no complaints. Will stay again.

We loved the location and the gated community amenities. The house size was nice for our family, 4 adults and 5 children. Kids enjoyed hot tub and pool. The furnishings are very dated and the bedding should be updated. It would also be helpful to have plastic cups to use in the pool area. We were there to visit Disney, which was close and worked well for us.

Great house and great value for the money

We were 2 familes staying in house with 4 children from 9-12 and the space was more than we needed. Kids and adults alike enjoyed the pool and hot tub along with the game room. Easy to communicate with owner, owner answered all questions in a very timely manner. House was clean and everything worked as expected in house. Gated community was very nice and exceptionally clean and minutes away from shopping and Disney. I plan to book house again next time I'm down that way.

Comfortable & relaxing

We spent 3 weeks in this house. It is spacious and comfortable. There was a problem with the pool heat and the owner and maintenance man, Marcel, took care of it within 24 hours ( a part needed to be ordered and replaced). This was our second time renting this home. We will likely rent here again. It fits our needs The owner responds almost immediately to any questions or concerns.

Beautiful home

When we arrived, there were painters painting rhe outside of the house. The windows and doors were covered with plastic and we had no access to the pool for 2 days. We had to repeatedly ask them to move ladders and equipment so we could enter/exit the front door. There are very few dishes and silverware, we had to wash bowls so we could have cereal in the mornings. Hot tub, even though included in the listing, was empty and not working.Handicap accessibility was great for my 2 children in wheelchairs, plenty of space to move inside and wide doorways.

Large and Clean Home minutes from Disney

We have rented many houses in Orlando for many years. This is one of the best. The house is much nicer and bigger than what you see in the pictures. The layout is also perfect for a large family with the Kitchen opening to the living room, dinning room, and pool area. The house was very clean and everything works. The owner responded to all my emails and phone calls quickly. This is key for anyone renting a house in Orlando. In other houses that we have rented in the past, getting a call back or getting someone to respond to an email was always an issue. Excellent customer service from Jay. Perfect location. Just a 5 minute drive from Disney after a long day at the parks. We will be back.
