Unfortunately, the 3 full days I was in Orlando, there was record breaking cold weather. Unbelievably, the air conditioning at the hotel was on. It was very uncomfortable. I spent more time in my room with the heat on. Also, I stay at this property every November. Very disappointed that the Christmas Tree was not yet up. All in all, a less than desirable experience this time around.

Great hotel. Honestly loved the location and the amenities. My only issue is the cost of parking per night. Very expensive to ask for 38 dollars a night to park a vehicle when the parking at the hotel and parks are included at every on property Disney owned hotel. Since this is not owned by Disney, it is understandable that they would not provide the same perks but it is a bit difficult to justify staying here vs a Disney owned property when the price after parking doesn’t make much of a difference in the end. Hopefully Marriott can work on lowering the cost or doing away with it all together.

Upon our first night the room had a musty smell but once we turned down the AC it was better. The restaurant was too pricey but food was good.

If you planning on self parking beware of convention events as they use the same parking area as hotel guest and fills up fast. I think the should not revise this process as the cost to self parking and not finding parking is unfair to guest. Also note a 1/4 if the guest parking is blocked out for valet parking which doesn’t have their own area. The room smell wasn’t pleasant either I assume it’s the carpet due to dampness from guest coming from pool area. Shower head was loose don’t stay in position and also toilet paper holder loose as well.
