The parking lot at the Dolphin was being used for some kind of construction project. This forced us to park at the Swan (we had to check with the front desk to see what we should do) and walk to the Dolphin. Ordinarily this would not be a huge but when we are being charged $40 per night to park onsite I would like the process to be hassle free. It was not.

The property has terrible customer service. Made us valet park at another resort as there was no valet or self parking spots left when we arrived at 1 am. Made us walk in the dark with our luggage for a half mile to check in. Did not offer any service recovery at all and had to walk in the dark at 6 am when leaving to get the car. Staff are under trained and apparently not empowered to provide service recovery for mishaps like that. Unbelievably disappointing for a supposed Disney property.

I stayed at the Walt Disney World Dolphin for a birthday getaway with my mom and daughter, and it was a wonderful experience. One of the biggest highlights was the location. Being so close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios made everything incredibly convenient. We took the Friendship Boats to Hollywood Studios. It was relaxing, easy, and felt like part of the Disney experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained. The lobby is impressive, and we really enjoyed spending time at the lobby bar. We also ordered room service, which was fast, convenient, and great after long park days. The amenities were another big plus. On Saturday night, we went to the pool and hot tub, which was the perfect way to unwind. Everything was clean, spacious, and well organized. It never felt overcrowded, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The staff throughout the property were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. From check-in to housekeeping to dining, everyone made us feel welcome and taken care of. Overall, this was a fantastic stay. The Dolphin is a great choice for families who want easy access to the parks without sacrificing comfort and quality.

The Dolphin used to be a favorite of ours, but this time we were less pleased with our stay. The room had a musty smell and a telephone that didn't work. We couldn't contact the front desk or any of the other hotel services with the phone in the room. That would present a scary situation in the event of an emergency! Additionally, we were unable to access the WiFi (supposedly free) and had to call tech support for help. Fourteen hours later we finally had access. The resort and parking fees are exorbitant, especially considering the difficulty in accessing phone and WiFi . We think that both Marriot and Disney can do much better!

Purchased 3 rooms. In addition to the cost here, they charged an additional $860 on site for various additional fees / benefits stuff. Still trying to find out what for exactly as I wasnt informed of this prior. Views from the balconies was amazing. In house restaurants, food, and drink were amazing. Other than 1 of the rooms smelling like someone smoked in it and the crazy extra charges, I would give it 5 stars. But sketchy charges that arent discussed does not justify a sound hotel.

We had a very bad experience with the lock on the door which did not allow us access without a security guard. The staff kept giving us more keys but none worked. They should have been more attentive to resolve the problem the first day, but it lasted throughout the stay.

I had booked a traditional room with a king bed and a sofa bed overlooking the resort. Upon our arrival, we were informed that the room was unavailable, and we were assigned a room with two full beds. My husband and I had to sleep in separate beds. We were advised that room assignments were not guaranteed. I believe this was not an appropriate response.
