We called the Travelodge to say we needed a late check in. When we arrived they only had one room available that we booked.. They offerred us a room wirh to double beds instaed of 1 queen. The room with the 2 double beds in had a large yellow stain on one of the beds, dirt on the pillow case and long dark hairs on the sheets. The security chain on the door was missing. Want down to front desk to ask for clean sheets . When we waited around for the sheets we had to change our own bed and we put the dirty sheets out in the halls because noone was available to help. Got to bed about 2300 hours and was woken up in the morning at 6 am by a screaming child in the next room wanting his mother. Went to shower and there was only one towel and one wash cloth in the bathroom. In the shower there was 2 empty soap packages, no soap. This was a room that was occupied and never cleaned. When asked to speak to the manager in the am, told he would be in at 1000hrs. We left to go out and called back at noon to be told it was the weekend and manager would not be in untill Monday. We checked in on Friday to leave on Sunday. The front desk did contact the manager who said there was nothing he could do as the rooms where paid through Expendia. We were to contact Expendia ourselves. This was useless because the wait time to speak with an agent was 170 mins by phone. On the web site for Expendia. IA would not let us contact an agent only them. Not enough room for our review ontract us by email .

There was a fight outside at 12 am. My daughter and I felt unsafe. Worried someone was going to get killed. 2:50 am yelling in the hallway. Once again, concerned if safety. The continental breakfast was disappointing and the coffee had no taste. There was no cream. When I researched the previous hotel I stayed in the price was comparable. So will not stay ever again at this hotel.

I was locked into the bathroom because the door didn't work properly. Also, the security system allowing your card entry to work was missing on an entry door. This forced me to walk in an unlit area to try another entry door to get back into the motel.

I had booked this room for my parents who are in their 80’s and was disappointed to find out the restaurant was under renovations and was told by the front desk that I should informed hotels.com they didn’t update their website to reflect this. I booked it out of convenience for my elderly parents so they wouldn’t have to drive to eat their meals. Although the room and bathroom was clean and modernized, the toilet continued to run all night for 3 nights. In addition, the grounds around the building weren’t maintained. My 83 year old father tripped on a piece of rebar sticking out of the sidewalk and did a face plant on the ground. When I mentioned this to the front desk, nobody including the hotel manager went to check on my father. Poor customer care at this hotel. The room was average but the beds weren’t comfortable and the hallway wasn’t vacuumed daily. Very disappointed and wouldn’t not recommend this hotel to anyone. Maintenance was very quick to go and cut the rebar so no one else got hurt. It’s evident that the staff and manager is inexperienced in dealing with customer complaints and doesn’t worry about the wellbeing of their customers.
