The first day of my 7 days stay was filled with problems and disappointments. The room card keys did not work after few resets, the room was cold, at 18 C, the heater was not in proper working order. They changed room for me after first denied there was a comparable room available, after a lengthy discussion. They found a room with what I reserved for. Unfortunately, the TV in that room was not working and the water for shower has only lukewarm water. They fixed the problem and offered a day of stay refund of fee paid. That was nice and the right thing to do from them. Throughout the stay there were no problems with the exception of City of Regina needs to fix the water pipe; and the water will be cut off for the day; they did not inform all guests and did not have a contingency plan for resolution in case the repair work by the city takes longer than expected. To give them credits and luck, somehow, they kept water working in my room and the city did repair and finished the work on time.
The complimentary breakfast was good, it has all the necessary items for breakfast and the taste of food is good as well. The best I liked was the waffle and I added strawberries puree and whip cream, the best. The parking lot is plentiful for guest parking and the house keeping was good, and when extra towels is needed, they provided it without hesitations. Overall, the place is and services were good, the place is clean; most important of all, they admitted problem and fixed it right.

Unimpressed with Travelocity. I was charged US dollars for this room. As a Canadian when I book as a Canadian in Canada I pay Canadian dollars. NOT AMERICAN. I want a refund for being completely unaware I was paying in USA funds. I would not have booked had I known. You owe me $274.45 dollars. Truly unimpressed. Do not trust Travelocity.
