The room was very dirty. As soon as I got in I took a facecloth and washed all of the light switches and lamp knobs I had to touch. I would not let company sit on the couch in the room because it was stained and very dirty looking. So whenever people came they sat on the bed which made things difficult. I looked behind the couch and there was a large amount of dust, hair, debris, and a few chip bags. This was the same behind/under any piece of furniture in the room. On top of doors, mirrors, headboard was large thick layer of dust. I placed towels on every surface that I needed to set things on - everything was dirty. I went out and bought lysol wipes (right by walmart/strip mall so that was nice) and wiped down the remote and other surfaces, headboard, doors and door handles. Hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. The elevator was broken, I was on main floor right next to the stairwell. Fun fact - did you know that the door to the stairwell slams every time it closes? It gets used a lot at all hours when the elevator doesn’t work. Went to the pool, it was fine, waterslide and hot tub as well. Hot tub jets weren’t working properly but staff got them working. Not many towels available and it didnt seem like anyone was taking care of the pool area testing water or gathering towels etc. Really unimpressed with the amount I paid and the crappy room and weekend I had.

This is my go-to hotel when I’m staying in Regina. The room was clean and quiet, beds were comfortable, and staff were wonderful! The woman at the front desk was friendly, welcoming, and pleasant - she even remembered me from a previous stay! I didn’t catch her name, but she deserves a nod for her excellent customer service! Will be back again!

Fair stay, not sure I would return

I booked early check in for 3pm because I knew my family would be early. Upon check-in at 3:36pm, we were told that the room wasnt ready and would be ready at 4pm so we had to wait with all our luggage in the lobby with my child. The pool area was fun, although too much chemical in the pool making it look foggy, and hot tub jets don't work, so it just felt like sitting in a hot bathtub, which I could have done in my room. Overall, breakfast options had a good variety of items for everyone. Enjoyed the hot breakfast of eggs, bacon and hashbrowns. Would I stay again? Not really sure. I would probably look to book elsewhere, as Bes5lt Western has always offered room upgrades for inconveniences.

Check-in employee was rude and not welcoming. Rooms need to be renovated!! Room had cracks on the ceiling/walls and bathroom tap leaked. The kids liked the water slide as it was fast but the pool itself needs a good scrub as you could see the scum line.

Staff were nice but the towels were terribly full of fibres and fluff., lint Unusable !! Lint needs to be removed. Lints made an absolute mess of my clothes and could not remove all the lint for travel I had to send all my clothes to external laundry just to get rid of lint !!
