I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. It was in the perfect location and I thought it was very large compared to other properties. My HUGE issue is that I left behind a makeup bag. I contacted the property and they were very nice about it and said they would post it to me. 3 weeks later and nothing. It has over $100 in items in there. I have had zero contact on the status and have tried to contact them about it with complete silence. I know it is my fault I left something behind (and I am not the first or last to do that) but they promised to post it to me. There were several items in there other than makeup too. I still wait but I am sure it will not arrive.

Apartment was very nice, large, very modern bathroom. Only view was the wall and rooftop of building next door but our apartment was very nice! In the heart of restaurants and nightlife so you can walk right out the front door for dinner and shopping. Was difficult to find at first because entrance to building is narrow entry sandwiched next to other businesses and sign is letters only. No parking so you need to find spot on the road to unload luggage and then find parking garage a block or so away.

Excellent location for the hotel

The hotel was a great location right on the strip where they are stores and restaurants, but even better is that Bus stop 7 for tours and excursions pick and drop off is down the block and around the corner, no need to walk too far. The studio room was big, the bathroom for the studio was across the hall but its private just for that studio room. The room and bathroom are kept clean. It was very convenient to have a fridge (to store cold cuts and yogurt). You do hear people screaming at night but it was fine by me since Im use to the noise. Highly recommend this hotel is near everything.

Well placed for walking around the city

We had a wonderful time but the food was not only ridiculously expensive(insanely might be a better adjective) but not very good. Drinks were also very high. The natural beauty of the country was incredible.

Warm and welcoming!

Pros: Our apartment felt like an apartment, NOT a hotel room. Personal touches, full size fridge, ambiance. Location!
Cons: Hotel title is a bit deceiving - construction between us and the water prevented a good view.
Location: Tourist office is nearby, as is great shopping, restaurants. Location is fabulous.
I can't say enough about how much we loved Room with a View. For starters, our flight arrived in Reykjavik at 6:00 AM, and when we arrived at the apartment, Jessica (the concierge who must have worked 20 hour days) told us our room(s) were ready! She and other staff members were always helpful. An example? Jessica made a phone call to a small workshop whose owner opened up just so we could admire and buy his wares. Beds are incredibly comfortable, radiant heating was spectacular (and sometimes too warm without a cracked window), and the kitchen fully stocked with needed tools/utensils. Lots of space. Our apartment had windows overlooking the main street, and was a bit noisy at night - ear plugs helped! The best part about the RWAV apartments? Location! We walked every day, and happily came back to our welcoming, centrally located place.
