I was given a key to a room that was already occupied. When I arrived at the door, I saw luggage outside, lights were on, and I could clearly see a woman lying on the bed through the window. I never touched the doorknob or tried to enter. Out of concern for everyone's safety, I went straight back to my car and called the front desk. Security eventually came and gave me a new room key. The next day, I followed up w/ the front desk, but there was still no manager available. I was told the guests in that room had called to ask if everything was okay because "someone tried to enter their room and the doorknob moved." That was simply not true. I never got close enough to touch the door. It felt like they were trying to shift the narrative instead of taking accountability. To make matters worse, they downplayed the incident by saying the other guests were understanding and had no issue with what happened after explaining the situation, as if that somehow made it acceptable. Throughout my stay, I reached out by phone and emailed to speak w/ management. No response. No callbacks. No replies! I didn't get to speak with a manager until four days into my stay. On top of the safety issue, the new room I was assigned smelled horrible and sink didn't drain properly. The room overall didn't feel clean or well-maintained. And after all of that? The manager's offer of compensation was a free bfast. The situation felt like a joke. This experience made me feel unsafe, dismissed, & disregarded

I think the staff is very good and efficient. The property is under a lot of construction so it’s not entirely surprising that parking was a bit difficult and the two nights we stayed there were people arguing, waking us up. Not the hotels fault, but hopefully they can hire security to patrol for such things as that, to remind people they are not at home.
