This facility is not as advertised. The room smelled stale. I had to ask the staff to bring an airfreshner which did not help much. One of the towels in the room was stained by the time we got there and needed to be changed. I left a message with the hotel front desk and the towel was still unchanged when we got back in the night because the morning front desk person did not pass on any notes to the cleaning staff or the person at the evening front desk. The vent in the bathroom was not working, had to also request a technician be brought in the next day. This hotel charges a daily rate for parking and should communicate this on their site for fair price comparison when guests are looking to book hotels. The shower cover handle in the bathroom was completely rusted and one of the storage drawers in the room had stains. The air conditioner is located too close to one of the beds in the two-queen beds room which is inherently likely to cause one to catch a cold because the air blows directly unto the bed. Consider at least changing the airconditioner vent control to one that is not fixed to enable guests point the air from the vent away from the bed. This facility requires major repairs and upgrades. Overall, this was a disappointing stay and poor value for the money spent.

The room had all the necessary essentials to fulfill my stay. I was just confused and bothered by the smell inside of the hotel room. And I also noticed the strict rules about no smoking in the room and outside hallways. Yet I seen many people smoking in the hallways. I think this needs to be better enforced‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

When I went there I asked for a refund right when I seen the condition of the room and they did not allow it. I was uncomfortable staying the night in a dirty room. My phone charger got sticky because the side table wasn’t even cleaned. Room was dusty, dirty and I don’t even think touched with any cleaning products. They need to hire new housekeepers or something! Especially if they wouldn’t allow refunds! Please don’t waste your time!

The room was rather comfortable and spacious for what you pay for. The A/C works very well and you get a full size fridge. What didn’t work do me was that the furniture and the appliances looked rather worn and the dishwasher door wasn’t able to close fully. If you ever find yourself hungry, your dining options are rather quite limited. There is a place called Del’s Hideout that is walking distance from your room that offers some nice food and drinks, but if you feel like you need to do some light grocery shopping, better to plan ahead and bring what you need since a decent store is a few miles away. Other than that, I was able to get a nice sleep here.

Parents looking for a hotel near San Diego State? DO NOT STAY HERE! It was terrible. There was a guy living out of his car in the parking lot, and he and his friend were swimming/bathing in the pool. There were people yelling all night outside and inside the rooms. There was a man removing all the tires from his car in the parking garage. The rooms were dirty--the photos here are NOT accurate. Breakfast was terrible and there were people strung out on drugs taking all the cereal. It is close to nothing except another run-down motel and very sketchy looking restaurant. We felt so unsafe that we left a day early. My family could not wait to get as far away from that place as possible.

Beautiful Courtyard/Great Location

The restroom was clean but the shower drain stunk. I booked this room for the full kitchen but the fridge/freezer didn't work. But the room was decent.
