Family reunion vacation

This property was perfect for our family get together, including grandparents, kids and grandkids. The location is just steps from the ocean, and has all the stores and shops nearby that you need. I noticed they had chairs, boogie boards, balls, and sand toys in the garage, which was very nice even though we had brought our own.

We had twelve and it was larger than the pictures show. The location was the best! Within walking distance of the shops and only feet away from the boardwalk! So much fun!

Great location and amenities

The property was conveniently located near many bars and restaurants. It was also a stones throw from the beach which was nice. The rooftop was a great amenity to relax and use the grill. The unit itself had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves for the weekend. The only drawbacks were the number of beds and the cleanliness of the floors. VRBO listed 6 beds, 1 king, and 5 queens, but 3 of the queens were actually futons. The floors were quite dirty, as our feet would turn black after walking around for only a few minutes.

SD Beach King - Surf Stars Combo

Great place in a fantastic location!! Everything was as it was advertised and we felt very comfortable staying here. It was nice that there was 2 surfboards and several boogie boards as well as beach chairs for us to use. We had both the upstairs and downstairs units for 2 families and it was perfect for all of us. The rooftop deck is really cool and we spent a lot of time there! Very attentive property managers who were very prompt dealing with any issues that came up (we only had 1 minor one). The only suggestion is to get the downstairs, outside porch lights on a switch so that guests can turn them off at night when they go to bed (they are very bright and bleed through the curtains in the lower unit making it a bit bright to sleep). Thanks for a great place!

Needs some updateing

There are a few things that need attention. The linen needs updating, the blankets in the closets were not clean (there were visible stains) and I had to wash them myself, the air condition on the bottom floor had mold and needed to be cleaned, there were ants on the second-floor kitchen and the oven door was held together with tape and the lights on the top deck did not work. That being said, the location is on point, and we agreed that the house was very comfortable, and we had a great time. Also, kudos to Maurice, he was on call and responded very quickly to any concerns we may have had.

We stayed in the studio and our kids and their kids had the upstairs unit. We had plenty of space for 6 adults and 5 kids. The location is steps to the beach. We were disappointed that the rooftop lights weren’t working.

Great family vacation!

This property was perfect for my family plus grandparents in the studio. Located very close to the beach and had many toys to use. Easy to walk anywhere, including grocery store, restaurants and down the boardwalk to Belmont Park. Great space in the penthouse and a respite for family downstairs in studio. Parking is tight, but that’s the beach! Roof deck offers great views! Highly recommend!

Great location

Great location and Maurice was very responsive throughout our stay. The shower in the studio wasn’t working and he responded right away and replaced it. Would not plan on having two adults sleep per couch though, as they only fit one adult. Had a great time and would recommend staying here again!

Shared washer?

We had a great trip, even with Hurricane Hilary. The 3 queen beds i the common areas are full size futons complete with a metal bar down the center. There is NO WAY 2 adults could sleep on one, not even sure 2 kids could. (My teenage son was uncomfortable, nevermind the 2 adults that slept on the other 2) fortunately we didn't have 2 people for these 'beds' On the second day while on the roof we watched someone enter the garage code to open the door & go in. Yes our car & personal items were there and the door to the studio unlocked. We ran down she said with attitude she was the property manager and the check in books and email advised the washer & dryer in the garage were "shared" We again read through the books & email and found nothing about this so i called the property manager. She is actually housekeeping and there is a broken washer in the apartments they manage across yhe street. He assured me she would not be back, but her laundry was left for us to deal with. The house was clean and everything was in working order.

Stayed here with a gathering of myself and 9 other friends, and it couldn't have been better. I thought it actually was better in person than the pictures showed. incredibly close to the beach and walking distance to great bfast, coffee, and restaurants. Our host was responsive and flexible. Great location

Super cute place close to beach down stairs gets a little noisy if there are kids upstairs so if you are not renting both levels and are looking for a quite place this probably won’t be what you are looking for. They did have all the accommodations you would expect. It worked perfect for me and my family, the only weird part about this property was that you had to go through a bedroom to access the roof top, but other than that we have no complaints had a great time easy check in process, if you are traveling from afar it is a very late check in time of 4 pm but again great place to stay with your big family
