My stay at DoubleTree was extremely disappointing. There was constant noise from cleaning and maintenance, which made it impossible to relax. The room was dirty and clearly not prepared properly for guests. On top of that, the customer service was bad and unprofessional. When I brought up the issues, no one seemed to care or try to fix the situation. This was a very unpleasant experience, and I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Front desk was wonderful; shuttle drivers talking loudly about 2:20 am woke us up; shuttle driver yelling at our uber driver as he loaded our luggage was very rude, telling us he had a schedule and Ubers aren’t allowed to park by the doors to pick us up. Shuttle driver then yelling-don’t talk to me like that- honestly the argument lasted longer than loading us to leave. No hand soap in bathroom- was told none delivered because of the Holiday?

Since I arrived in San Francisco early in the morning, I planned to go to the DoubleTree hotel first, leave my suitcases there, and then go out. However, I was shocked by the attitude of the hotel's front desk staff. She was a young white woman, and her behavior was clearly discriminatory towards Asians. She was talking to another woman behind her while serving me, and she definitely needs to learn customer service again. The suitcase tags were left lying on the desk, and she didn't even give me a copy of the ticket... I was furious about this incident, but since I was traveling with my family, I held back. If I had been alone, I would have called the manager and filed a complaint.

Room was clean and beds were confortable. Jessica from the front desk was awesome! However, the bedside power sockets were loose and not functional. The carpet was too thick to roll spinner luggages. But the main pain point was parking. It was such a hassle finding a parking space. Not a good experience for car renters coming from a long flight and all you want is to lay your head down and rest.
