Eugene and Natalie are exceptional hosts! Our Sonoma Suitte was well equipped with refrigerator, microwave and a big screen TV. What was truly nice are the extras for example: a bottle of nice wine, a bowl of fruit with apples and persimmons, cookies, biscotti, a nice can of Italian wafers and more. The bed was very comfortable. What we really appreciate is a washer and dryer in the room so we do not have to pack as many clothes for an extended stay. The location is very quiet and yet easily accessible to highway 101, a Safeway grocery as well as a cool family owned store called Scotty’s Market. We have been shopping there for 20 years. It is super easy to go to downtown San Rafael to enjoy the shops and restaurants. We frequently go to San Anselmo and Fairfax for little day trips and dinners. It is an easy drive to Novato and Napa for day excursions. we have been coming back for a number of years now and will continue to return.

Nice, very few quirks

It was just like it looks. I love all the seating like it's a mod hotel. The bathroom is nice, but the sliding door isn't flush and doesn't feel especially private.The only quirks I'd say is the front wall is glass cubes, so you can't cut all the light out, unless there was something that closed off the bedroom that I missed. However, this didn't bother me.And there is a neighboring unit, so if they throw something in the recycling on the other side of the glass wall, you will totally hear it and see their shadow. This wasn't a big deal. Also, the soundproofing must be good between units because they had a baby I saw outside but I did not hear one peep when I was inside.

This was a wonderful place! I am a San Rafael local, and my dad and I stayed here. Very clean, very comfortable, well lit indoors by daylight or lighting. A giant TV, a bunch of fun amenities. Many fun things to do in the neighborhood. A perfect place between Sonoma and San Francisco.

Couldn’t have asked for better!

After a grueling day of travel, we opened the door to this beautiful hideaway! There was gentle mood music playing that immediately soothed our stressed nerves, and a special treat left for us from the hosts. The bed is extremely comfy-it was tough getting up every morning, and the location was just what we were looking for to get to our destinations each day! Weekend getaway – the space was absolutely immaculate. The landscaping is wonderful, which you can see from all windows while inside, and it feels almost tropical. The hosts had a nice bottle of wine waiting for us, and overall we had a really great experience!! I was there for a romantic getaway with my boyfriend, and the only small challenge is that the sofa isn’t especially cuddle – friendly. The bed, however, is fantastic! So comfortable! Also, the TV is great. We were able to hook up our streaming services and watch movies. Lots of conveniences very nearby, but still off the beaten path/super residential and quiet. We had everything we needed, and would definitely stay here again!

It was a terrific experience. Eugene thought of everything. The unit was convenient, safe, and well equipped with all the basics. The bed was comfortable and the heating/cooling was good. The TV was a little weird because there were no normal channels but we dealt with it. If you are looking for a good place to sleep and a convenient location this is a great option.
