It was under renovation. So hard to comment on cleanliness etc.Our room was almost complete and fully updated. Appears as it will be modern and nice.It was clean. Bed was comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor and it was very noisy above us.The doors around us could be heard closing. Very loud as they closed. It could be due to the renovations and doors not 100% complete.Outside was noisy on our street side. But , it is a city. Parking $$ is a little expensive in my opinion. Location is great for all things downtown. Despite these little things, would stay here again and give it another chance. Location and price

The renovations are wonderful! The front desk staff was knowledgeable, kind and helpful! The rooms are lovely. Conveniently located to some great sites like the space needle, climate pledge and pike market. Only complaint was booking a room with a fold out sofa which was no longer available as they had renovated.

Absolutely no shopping nearby. Room was not completed with renovations, but told it was. Fridge not working, yet brand new. Closet had no door, and chopped concrete. Restaurant for people staying at Holiday Inn Downtown Seattle supposed to close at 10pm. Went down at 8:30pm, to find them closed. Very disappointed

Parking was inconvenient and too expensive. We were charged about $34 per day! Breakfast was out of the building run by a different business and unfriendly staff and limited selection. They were short in staff resulting in a long waiting time to check in or wanting to approach them for guidance.

Unfortunately, this hotel was in pretty rough shape. There were large water damage spots on the ceilings, uneven and indented flooring throughout, and overall it just felt neglected. Having previously worked in hospitality, I could tell the property is in serious need of maintenance and care. Our room had torn wallpaper, visible mold, and several areas that weren’t properly cleaned disappointing for the price point. When I called a week prior to confirm my reservation (booked through a third-party app), the front desk agent was immediately rude, questioning why I hadn’t booked directly with them. The tone was unprofessional and caught me off guard. At check-in, there was only one staff member working with a long line of guests waiting. She was doing her best and very kind, but clearly overwhelmed. It felt unfair that management didn’t have more staff scheduled to help her. Parking was also unreasonably expensive $35 a day should really be included in the stay. Overall, the property needs significant updates, better staff support, and improved customer service, I wouldn’t stay here again.
