There was construction going on in the hotel. During day there was hammering and drilling going on. It sounded like from one of the adjacent rooms. Was awoken before 8am on 6/4 eith same construction noise. We came there to relax. We called front desk and they said we can check out later at noon. I said why would we want to stay longer with all that noise. Apparently construction was going on in Hotel

Great stay. I was at a convention for work at another local hotel on the boardwalk. It was full as far as rooms so I stayed at Oceans. I was able to walk to the convention right from Oceans each morning for work. I love the view and the peace and quiet in my room at night. Very soothing to just get to stare at the ocean before bed at night and upon rising for my morning meditation. I will definitely stay again.

Hotel is in good condition although has clearly not reached its final state. Rooms are beautiful, although poorly stocked. No water, no bads for dirty clothes, and no soap in the shower. When incurring the expense of a suite, these are basic amenities that should be provided.
