The teenage boy working the counter was rude. The pool was small and the hot tub was unusable because it was dirty and smelled HORRIBLE! The room was super small, must use a wide angle lens. The lobby looks good, but beyond that it did not live up to the expectations of being associated with Bass Pro Shop!

The lodge ia beautiful. The front desk staff were wonderful and made check in so easy. This by far was our best lodging experience of our trip. The sweet personal touches they put in our room was so thoughtful. This will be our lodging anytime we come back.

An older motel remodeled in the "Bass Pro" style across from the main Bass Pro Shop and Wonders of Wildlife museum/aquarium. The room was clean, but small. It's a great location, close to lots of things to do in Springfield. Friendly staff, nice grounds.

Angler's Lodge is my favorite place to stay. The way it is decorated is fun and room is always clean and quiet. They have a really nice indoor pool and exercise room. There were several things to choose from for breakfast. In addition, the price is great!

The property was fairly nice. It was a converted hotel. They did a nice job and it was in pretty good shape. I thought for the most part it was clean. There was an issue with our toilet were it was obviously not cleaned well. However it was late when we checked in and I'm pretty confident they were full so I just cleaned the minor issue and went on. Our AC didn't work well. It was on the lowest setting and still our room was not very cool. The huge issue I had with our experience was the phone call I received. I made the reservation several days in advance, prepaid for the room and had everything all set. We knew we would be checking in late in the evening. The hotel called me at almost 9PM. The lady asked me if I knew I had a reservation for a room for that night? I was taken aback and finally responded Yes. She said Oh, okay. Well do you know when you will arrive? I said we should be in by 10 pm. Okay she said. What in the world? I stayed at many hotels, worked in the industry and NEVER received a call or made a call like this. Not impressed. I have an idea why I got the call but still. Otherwise our stay was okay
