Clean, tidy, spacious, and really well appointed rooms. Complimentary breakfast is a great option. Fantastic location. Every staff member we met was kind, friendly and really helpful. Amazing value for money.

The hotel is a little dated but has upgraded bathrooms and seemed clean. It is across from Hyde Park and we felt safe walking the area, even at night. Access to transportation was excellent. The light breakfast was just cereal, cookies, and bread for toast. We would stay there again.

Convenient

The hotel is older and has been renovated, but still has very small rooms and hallways. They were very skimpy on the towel and pillow allotment, even after we asked for more. Considering they charged us an “extra guest fee” for 3 people in the room, I expected to have enough supplies for three people. The staff were all very nice, and they held our luggage for us before we checked in so we didn’t have to lug it around sight seeing, which I thought was a great benefit. The location is very good for walking around the sights, and it is right next to a train and a bus stop if you want to explore a little farther out. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and had good pressure, and check in & out were easy. Overall, a good hotel, good staff, but nothing outstanding.

On arrival I had a problem with a further airline booking. A staff member called Brock was in the room at the time. He was very kind and courteous and loaned me a pen so I could taken down details of my new booking. When my friend and I arrived in the room we were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and the level of comfort provided by by the easy chairs. The hotel is across the road from Museum Station and Hyde Park. We could walk to the QVB and Capitol Theatre, as well as to local restaurants. We will book the Hyde Park Inn again when we are in Sydney.

Unable to access balcony but view of Hyde Park and memorial was lovely. The continental breakfast was extremely limited to basic cereal (no choice) and sandwich slice bread, with longlife 2 fruits and juice.

Great location, helpful friendly staff, room was lovely and we unexpectedly had a room with a balcony & amazing view. We were travelling with a visitor from the UK, seeing Sydney for the first time and he absolutely loved being opposite the Anzac Memorial. We had also never seen the memorial & Hyde Park. I was thoroughly delighted with everything far exceeding my expectations. Reception was efficient, the room was spacious and clean and the fact that it did not have windows did not impact the amenity. The location was also very handy with the CBD outside the door, and an easy walk to Town Hall, Museum, and Central Stations.
