The apartments are much more tired and run down than portrayed. We had to move apartments and were fortunate it was a quiet night after Vivid. The heaters did not work, and it was cold. In fact, the heaters were very, very old and broken so it was quite obvious that they would not be functioning. The new room had a light hanging from the ceiling and leaking fridge. The floor was grimy. Carpet and furniture were so old you would imagine the filth in them. TV was small and tinny. Not enough power points near beds. Staff were good but could not do much to improve things. Maintenance not on for the weekend. Rubbish left in cupboards and on balcony.

We enjoyed the quiet and the balcony for observing the beautiful night lights of Sydney. The wet areas of the room do require some love, but overall it was a great stay.

Great 1-bed unit with living, dining, kitchen and separate bedroom at a good price, fantastic location with fabulous views! Very friendly and welcoming staff, nice lobby and quaint (heated) pool & spa with separate sauna. Only challenging aspect of our stay would be the very limited 'available' parking and the odd/obscure entry thereto. Otherwise a 10-out-of-10 for us. We would most definitely stay here again and actually plan to the next time we need to stay in Sydney CBD.

Second time staying at The York, the room was clean tidy and comfortable, Circular Quay and Darling harbour are within walking distance and with Wynard station only 120m awayyou can get anywhere.

Excellent nightly rate and close to The Rocks and Pitt Street. Apartment style suite with two TVs with Foxtel. But the windows were not double glazed and the noise from the traffic on the street below was unreal!! We bought earplugs to stiffle the noise at night.

Great location but there was no-one at the desk on arrival. Rang the bell but no-one came, so phoned the number on the sign located on the desk and reached an answering machine. Room was very spacious but the couch was very stained. Otherwise it was good.

Actually a great spot within easy walking distance to both the ricks and Darling Harbour areas, Chinatown, Chinese Gardens and much more. We had fun with the deco of our apartment (a good laugh at the paintings and mix of put together) but it was very comfortable and great value for the $. Had a view of a highway with wonderful sky views beyond it - better than looking at the side of a building 😎

The hotel and the room were excellent. Very spacious, comfortable, very comfortable bed, large and useful living room and tables. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. Large bathroom, very useful washing machine in the room. The people at reception very friendly and helpful.

Amazing lication in the CBD. The 2 bedroom unit is adequate in size. The one we had had well worn furnishings. I requested a renocated unit but we got an old one. 4 star building.

Bedding was very comfortable. Great position for walking anywhere, including train station literally around the corner and tram stops 1 block down on George St Make sure you get an Opal card for public transport as soon as you get there. We had 1 each with $20 on it and left with still $8 on both, (which we gave to the receptionist so as not to waste it.) And ensure to download the app for timetables. AMAZING A short 600 mtr walk to Circular Quay and 500 mtr walk to Darling Harbor A little maintenance needed but, all in all, a VERY GOOD stay🙂
