The Convention center and Downtown is 20 minutes (13 miles) away, Bush Gardens, Moffitt and USF are 6 - 7 miles away. One of Dr Beach's top beaches is 25 miles away, and you can reach Disney or the Space Coast within a short drive. The airport is about 20 minutes down the veterans....

Our Lutz Cottage has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and sleeps eight in about two thousand square feet. It has a pool with a screened lanai with grill and covered sitting area -- so the mosquitoes will not carry you away as you enjoy the great Florida climate.

If you are the out-doors-y type, this is where you would sip your wine. If you are Canadian, this is where you would swim in the dead of winter while Floridians would not dip a toe in the water for six months!

Within walking distance is our Tampa Cottage, a four bedroom, two bath home that sleeps seven which large groups can rent too:

So if you have twelve golfing friends who each want their own bedroom, we have three houses that fit the bill!

The cottage has groceries and shopping close by in several directions. Dale Mabry highway with more shops than an Indian bazaar is only two miles East as is the Veterans Expressway. Three miles South West is I-275, a quick jump to Downtown, Busch Gardens, USF, St Pete and Clearwater.

Our Lutz Cottage has two king size beds and four twin beds in four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

You will love the master bathroom with its whirlpool tub, glass shower and his and her sinks.

Your guests can slum it in the spare bathroom while you enjoy the bubbles in the the jet tub. Now, don't turn on the switch to the whirlpool until the water in the tub is three inches over the back jet, or there will be a cleanup on isle nine as the water will shoot clear out of the tub!

You must agree to be smarter than the tub!

Sitting out on the lanai by the pool, you can look out at the large back yard and the trees, and if you want to throw a ball or walk the dog, this would be the place to do it.

When escaping the Florida heat, you can relax inside in the AC, and surf the web on our cottage WiFi, or watch Netflix movies on our 48 inch smart TV.

Out front, there is plenty of parking for your relatives on the driveway.

The cottage is fully equipped, so just bring your clothes and food. We supply paper towels, coffee filters and more. There is a tea kettle and a laundry room with a washer/dryer and ironing board if you stay for a while.

If you are an exercise fanatic, there are very pleasant and quiet streets that are great for walking and if you are a glutton for punishment, jogging. There is a great five mile route that we routinely cycle here too.

We have a custom manual detailing area attractions, beaches, restaurants and information about the house for you when you arrive.

Spring getaway

This property was just perfect. We stayed 2 weeks, was close to everything we needed. Our stay was middle of March. There was a lot to see and do. This home was very clean well stocked, had trouble with a sink drain but the host was there within minutes to fix it. The pool was nice, a little cold but what do you expect for March. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Winter Escape

I wish I had planned a longer stay. The place was plenty spacious, and I loved being out on the lanai, still a little too cold for swimming, but quite relaxing and pleasant. Lots of great food and activities all around. Owner was exceptionally helpful and pleasant.

Needs Improvement

We stayed not as a vacation but of necessity while our home was under repair. Two issues 1.). The rugs were dirty so my wife rolled them up. The floor was dirty underneath to the point that one had to wear shoes or wash your feet. 2.). The internet connection was slow and weak. The under lying carrier was Spectrum. Their speed is both substandard and as a cable service the node is shared and the lag time long. Additionally the WiFi router is old and slow. As such I was partly able to compensate by adding my own WiFi router. As I was working remotely during the stay that was necessary.

Love the Lutz Cottage

This is the second year we have stayed at the Lutz Cottage. It is perfectly located to get anywhere in the Tampa area. There is plenty of space and the outdoor pool area is lovely. Jonathon is great at communicating with us and answering any questions. We will definitely be back!!

Just what we needed.

This was a fantastic property! There was plenty of room everywhere. We had a wonderful time in the pool and using the outdoor grill. The kitchen was very spacious. All the beds and seating areas were comfortable. There were plenty of plush towels. We would love to stay here again.

Roomy for a large family

Great stay!

Close proximity to Tampa and all the attractions. Pool was nice to come back to after a long day. Kitchen is well equipped. Owner is super easy to communicate with.
