Nice Hotel, Surrounding Area A Bit Concerning

Hotel is nice enough, clean, but rooms maybe a bit on the small size. Not much space between bed and wall or between toilet and sink - in my room anyways. Shower is tiny. Walls seem a bit thin as noise could be heard from other rooms or the hall; I could hear snoring from another room for example. Surrounding area is a bit concerning, lots of homeless around and/or people who are drinking or doing drugs out in public. Bus terminal directly behind hotel seems to be a bit of a hang out for some of them. Not the hotel's fault but there were times where I picked up the pace walking as it didn't feel totally safe. It's unfortunate as it's good walking distance to many places. Marina is very close by, nice place to walk around.

Property is a great hotel small but quirky! Very new and modern feeling since best western took it over but overall the area is very unsafe outside both day and night! Needs a heavier police presence outside the hotel area in my opinion definitely wouldn’t stay here with kids!

The hotel room was fine, bed was comfortable, nice washroom but other parts of the hotel are looking dated. Check-in was easy and staff were helpful and pleasant. Not the greatest area of the city.
