Nice pool

It is a little far from downtown, but the pool makes up for that. It was clean, the employees were all very nice and the beds were comfortable.

Hotel chitzen is actually in the town of piste.

Drove to this town to see ruins. Not much going on in this town. The hotel may have also had the nicest restaurant in town. Not much night life but the ruins were amazing. Good clean hotel with a/c and hot water and tv and internet. Whole town shuts down alcohol at 10pm.

Nice pool, rooms very basic i.e no glasses, coffe maker no cups or coffee, space for fridge but no fridge. Breakfast very basic and like everything else, no information in any language. Hard to find also as no sign on road leading to hotel. Reception staff were friendly and tried to help.

Wouldn’t stay again!

Located about 10 minutes from the centre. Could have been cleaner - towels were disgusting! Very uncomfortable beds and too small for two people. Pool was quite nice although cold. Only stayed two nights which was enough!

The staff was happy to help in anyway possible. Location was close to ADO bus, taxis, collectivos and Tulum Avenue. Everyone was very friendly and the pool was very nice.

This property is a hidden gem! The pool and room is absolutely beautiful. Staff are all so nice. The only thing lacking is a fridge and microwave which if they can’t afford to put in the rooms they should have a common area that people could use. They only serve breakfast. If a fridge/ microwave were supplied they could definitely get more money per room. It’s truly a beautiful place.

The hotel was in an area far from the bars and food. I had a car so it was ok but if your going to drink. Take a taxi The pool was amazing!!!! You are going to want it, you can’t go in the ocean in Tulum. the seaweed is horrible. No hot water in shower, luke warm at best. Coffee maker in room. Super clean and safe. Breakfast was 8 dollars but you couldn’t just order coffee.

What a wonderfully helpful staff, the hotel is new and as soon as more people get to know about the hotel I think it will be constantly fully booked. Best pool I saw anywhere in Mexico!

Excellent pool. Staff was very helpful as far arranging a taxis and helpful hints. The location was a bit of a distance from town, but only a short walk. I have stayed at the Axkan Palenque, and found that experience also very enjoyable. Quiet and peaceful, with a dip in the lovely pool after the ruinas at Tulum and Coba, this was a great way to relax.

Nice but not perfect

The pool is nice as are the rooms, and they are equipped with AC. When we first got there we could not open the door to my room, but they were very nice and gave me another room even after eventually getting it open. My shower head was useless, barely any water spurted out from the severely rusted head. However my friends room did not have this issue. They make you sign a contract stating that you won’t bring any outside door or drinks in, which is preposterous. However because their pool didn’t actually have booze yet and they didn’t have a restaurant yet either they ignored that rule. Despite what some people have said, it is not a long walk to downtown, it’s just not right on the main strip. Despite the issues that I had, I would return.
