The room was the ocean view villa and was well up-kept. Unique design in the rooms is awesome to experience, very immersive into the tropical climate. Would come again and stay there.

I stayed at Hotelito Azul for a week and it was amazing. Cute rustic chic bungalows situated right on a beautiful beach. The rooms have AC and the bed was really comfortable 😀 The service provided was wonderful, food and drinks were terrific so no need to venture somewhere else if you don’t feel like it. I didn’t have any issues waiting long for food and drinks. It’s also in a great location where you can check out other terrific restaurants and shops that are located at max a 20 minute walk, or you can rent bikes to get around. Everyone at the hotel was very professional and helpful. The only few things I didn’t love was a Wednesday night where the bar across the street had music blasting till 4am. The other nights were not an issue. I asked to have a room further away before I went and they happily satisfied my request. The lighting in the bathroom is dim which wasn’t ideal but you get used to it. And there was one day where the the water wasn’t working so I couldn’t take a shower right then. All in all though, I would highly recommend this place to anyone and look forward to staying there again!

Everything about Hotelito Azul was amazing! The front desk staff, Tony & Louis, were unbelievably helpful in providing anything you would need. The bartenders Che & Jacky were so much fun and would bring you food/drinks anywhere throughout the hotel. There is a staff member located at the entrance of the hotel 24/7 which will make you feel at ease if you are concerned with security. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner while he was in town and he could not have been more accommodating. The hotel staff made sure to have perfectly raked beaches every morning and always ensured our room was clean and cold.
If you are looking for a hotel outside your traditional "resort", this is the place to go. The sand throughout the hotel made you feel as if you were at your own beach bungalow getaway. The lights at night are simply spectacular. The location is perfect! It's on the hotel beach strip, but is just far enough from the bars/restaurants to where you do not feel overwhelmed by tourists. It is just a short walk to restaurants, stores, and bars. There are no TV's or phones in your room which provides for a true escape (there is great WIFI). Could not have asked for a better trip. Thank you so much Hotelito Azul!!
