One of the last properties in Tulum with beautiful palapas on the ocean. Each one had views of the ocean, large bathrooms, electricity for charging devises, good wifi, and beautiful beaches with sunbeds and sunshades. The staff took great care of us and the free breakfast was an added bonus. We loved our stay.

Peaceful and relaxing white sand beach
We enjoyed staying in the horizonte perdido suite which is a second level unit located on the beach. We had neighbors below but could not hear anything. It’s a rustic room with the charm we expected. I highly recommend the palapa style rooms on the beach where you can listen to the waves and watch people go by. There is no AC in the unit but there are fans which was sufficient for our stay in the low 80’s. The beach was gorgeous and no seaweed. There were always available daybeds on the sand to layout. The pool area was a bit lacking in my opinion and the ambience of the deck and water appeared in need of cleaning and maintenance. The front desk was always welcoming and appeared to take notice for security. The included breakfast is located across the street in a restaurant. It’s basic but we found it sufficient to start our day. You can upgrade your meal choices for 100-200 pesos. We were on foot our whole trip as there were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Overall we felt it was a great location and value for the area and are likely to return.

Tulum
The weather was fantastic for most of our stay. However, the last night was challenging due to strong winds. I can't give it a 5-star rating for comfort because throughout the night, something outside the cabin kept banging against the wall, leading to a restless night with considerable noise. Despite this, the location is excellent, and the amenities are perfect.

modern , new and clean hotel in a quiet area but close to main road. I received an upgrade to big apartment. The food was very good in the hotel restaurant. Overall very good experience, highly recommended.

I think eco has become as excuse for not having basic amenities lol. The water didn’t work in the morning when i woke for a shower, the Marianne man did come quickly but because there’s no phones i had to get dressed and walk to the front to get someone first. The water is like a dribble lol. Breakfast was included however nowhere did it mention the restaurant was up the street lol. The restaurant across the street is expensive AF be warned. I will say the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room did have a kitchenette which i always like and a hammock on the patio. I wouldn’t stay there again though, I’d rather pay double to stay at Alaya or somewhere more central. Because a can to go 5 minutes up the street is $35 lol.
