All the staff is attentive. They walk right up to you and ask you what you need, friendly always smiling. Clean beautiful resort. I thought I was in paradise and they are entertaining! ( shout out to my girl "whats mi numbre -Fatima!). The food is mid except for the restaurants but I get that at a resort. Could use some more top shelf alcohol variety. Beach is beautiful but sand is hard and water had a lot of seaweed at the time if year in May(still BEAUTIFUL)

The only thing I didn’t like was that they didn’t care about my the fact that I spent my honeymoon with them and also didn’t do anything about my birthday , my 2 celebration were completely ignored, for the rest was really relaxing to stay there

Unfortunately the language barrier seems to be a real issue here. First thing out of every staff member's mouth is "no!" I've been here 5 times now and they seem to be cutting back on the level of service and offerings. It's a shame because the property is absolutely stunning.

This last trip was one of the best vacations I have had in a very long time. The staff, the food, and the activities and beach front were fantastic. The sandy beaches with turquoise water was an amazing sight to see every morning. I have been to Barcelo many times now, and can say they have only been improving and getting better. The staff in particular Jose L. at the Agave Mexican Restaurant Gloria G. with the concierge team Aurora G. at the premium lounge These individuals went above and beyond to make the experience beyond pleasurable, and I cannot express how much better they made the trip. Will be back soon.

This property was very clean, spacious, and modern. The service is prompt and excellent! Special shoutout to Jocelyn Rodriguez at the music pool bar and Julio Rodriguez at the Bahia Bar. You guys are the best! The restaurants and food options are amazing. I usually tend to stay away from seafood at an all inclusive but ate it here and am fine! Truly one of the best resorts we’ve been to and I will definitely come back again. The rooms were also very spacious and clean. Love this resort! Truly a must stay. The only downside is that if you do not make a reservation at the restaurants during the weekend, you will not have any place to eat as the buffet is also closed during late dinner hours. The only thing missing from this resort is a restaurant/ grill that is open late night. It would be nice to be able to go to a restaurant/grill to order late night food at 1am. Other than this, everything was great!

Horrible logistics and staff! You should be prepared to be surrounded by 700 people hotel guests! You will have to walk from one place to another miles! In a day you will have walked 10 miles! Very huge and ill-conceived and uncomfortable design of the hotel! For a week of staying in this hotel you will never have a place near the pool, unless you smarten up your room before 8 am! And most importantly.. a terrible beach with seaweed and holes and stones on the bottom! Also having a holiday on the uncle, where you hardly lie down by the ocean, because of the waves, chambers on the bottom and constant wind, you also will not get any .. absolutely no service! .... you have to go to the bar yourself all the time for drinks !! no one else will bring you drinks! Well, the buffet is the same every day! You can try different food only in one of the 4 restaurants! It's terrible.. For 700 hotel residents there are only 4 restaurants! You need to book a table! And this is a big problem! To make a hotel reservation you have to stand in a long line! This hotel has a huge territory and many useless rooms! This was our experimental visit to this hotel!! We do not advise anyone to visit this hotel! The only plus of this hotel: a huge bed in a room of Mega super giant size!!!
