Hotel is very clean, maintenance is excellent, staff is very friendly and accommodating. Quality of food changed from 2 years ago - not as big selection of dishes especially for breakfast. Specialty restaurants are great. All in all - great vacation.

Tranquil and close to the mall. There are many hotels in the same area that are part of Barceló, where we stay were few people. Everything fine but the staff were always reminding the check out hour, the insistence made me uncomfortable

My wife and I were hospitalized on our honeymoon from a stomach virus from the resort. The staff at the front desk were horrible. Overall i would not recommend. I would like money back for the day we missed

The hotel Buffett restaurant was closed most of the time and we had to go to the next hotel restaurant to have breakfast and dinner. The lunch was only available at the next hotel beach restaurant, not at the main buffet, so we had to walk a lot for every meal. At 5 PM at our hotel swimming pool bar the was not beer available, not draft, not canned beer, any beer at all!! The lobby bar was closed the last day of our stay. Customer service office only allowed us to reserve 1 specialty restaurant during our entire stay, which was 4 nights and 5 days.

Perfect for a family vacation. Very clean, safe, great service, good variety of food and drinks. The beach wasn't great only because it was sargassum season and even though they cleaned the beach during our stay, the water wasn't great for swimming. But, overall it was a great experience and would definetly recommend.
