The staff is friendly and was very accommodating. I arrived an hour early but he was able to accommodate me after a very long flt from Toronto. I really appreciate the hospitality there. The room and the washroom were clean and the amenities worked pretty well. I will surely recommend this place to my friends and colleagues and even will book the same place on my next trip to the Big Island.

Cozy in a tropical rain forest, quiet except when the amazing birds are active in the morning. Close to the local shops and food. Just a few minutes away from Volcano, great price for shared facilities, highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Quiet, great appliances, nice location. For a bed and shared bath and shared kitchen it was great, saved money, very relaxing nice to heard nature in the morning. Modern kitchen and plenty to cook with. Would certainly recommend this to anyone travelling through the area.

Simple basic clean room very close to the park

It’s simple, it’s on the older side but it’s clean. For the 1 or 2 nights that you need to stay there to visit the volcano park it does the job

Good Value to visist the Volcano

The rooms were comfortable and others guests considerate and quiet. The communal space was tidy and functionsl with a full kitchen .We spent most of our time other than sleeping in the park which was close at hand .

Good location and great value in Volcano village

Convenient location in Volcano, very basic room with shared bathroom but had everything we needed. We didn't even check out the shared kitchen as we were out in the park late then up early and out in the morning. Older place but has the basics and great value for the price. Would recommend to others for sure. Only complaint would be that check-in is between 3-5pm, although I understand you can call to make alternative arrangements, so likely a non-issue.

Good location close to the volcano. Comfortable room. We had a bathroom shared with 1 other room (some rooms had private bathrooms). Shared kitchen was well-stocked. Wifi worked reasonably well, better in the common areas than the room.

Nice little spot

Was a nice little place to stay, I wish the hot tub was up and running when we had arrived but was not finished yet. the room was tidy and kept clean. There were a few minor inconveniences, there was no ac, however we just cracked open the windows. My wife and I prefer our room to be very dark for sleeping (early sun rise) and the curtains didn't quite cut it. The toilet had a small leak (clean water however).

Very small room with low ceilings ( can hit your head even if you are under 6 feet), the building is old and musty smelling. A bit misleading as it was an expensive hostel type room.
