The building is a small, quiet, secure residential complex with free on-site parking, and I've never had a guest issue in 4 years of hosting. Like anywhere, use normal city common sense with valuables. Guests who book the west side deliberately tend to say it was the best decision of their trip ✧ several of my reviewers have.
