This hotel exceeded my expectations by a mile. Just to clarify a few points first though - if you're looking for concierge, bar, extensive pool and gym, then this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a roomy, well decorated, clean and quiet small hotel, with a lovely restaurant cafe on its ground floor, then this is for you. I very much enjoyed my stay in the lovely, high ceiling room with its plentiful natural light and the friendliness of the hotel/cafe staff. I would stay here again.

Comfortable but different type of hotel

Be aware that there is no front desk as such - a very different type of hotel. But website clear on this and we loved our stay in such a lovely small town. The inclusive breakfasts in the cafe were excellent and a big feature of the day.

Nice value hotel in a small village

This is a nice small hotel with rooms located over a cafe, which runs the hotel. It is located in a small village center, with relatively easy access to the motorway. The hotel has limited free above-ground and underground parking. Accessing the hotel without a car is likely too impractical to be worthwhile. The rooms are nice and have been recently remodeled/updated with private bath facilities en suite, TV, and free wi-fi. Free breakfast is also included at the very nice cafe below the hotel, with very liberal breakfast times and a choice of selections from the cafe menu. For the cost and inclusiveness of free parking, wi-fi, and a nice breakfast, this hotel represents an excellent value. However, it is worth noting that because check-in is done in the cafe, if one arrives when the cafe is closed, I am not sure how this would be done -- if a late check-in is needed, it would be best to call the hotel to ask before making a reservation. If already checked-in, one can return to the hotel late, since the room key card also opens the front door of the hotel. Also, before getting a parking pass, it is difficult to find parking around the hotel in order to check in. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would certainly stay at this hotel if I were in the area again, particularly given the excellent value.

Perfect for the night before flying out from Frankfurt as well as visiting family in neighboring towns. The hotel room is lovely, clean and spacious with a grocery and places to eat within walking distance including the café where we received our keys and parking passes. I'd stay again!
